The @IMChallengeug (Cohort 9) has been both stretching & grounding.
Constant learning, powerful conversations, & a shared commitment to growth, but more importantly, I’m very intentional about the contribution & value I bring into the space as the president of this year's Cohort.

Yesterday at the @mcimediahub, Switch Africa hosted the Makerere Guild Presidential Debate, bringing together students, leaders, and voices that matter.
Moderated by our switchers, Mwesigwa Joshua and Divine Mercy Nalwanga, the conversation was guided with purpose and clarity as candidates took to the podium, pointing out issues they wish to address if given authority to lead the gallantry. These ranged from understaffing in some colleges, rising tuition fees and the ongoing accommodation challenges. Each discussion reflected the realities students face, and the solutions they hope to see.
An evening of bold ideas, critical discussions, and meaningful dialogue. Here are some highlights from the debate.

Facts over fiction.
Truth over trends.
The MCI team is all in for #LoveFactsUG.
As we head into the weekend, here's a thought:
Misinformation doesn't take weekends off. But neither should our commitment to truth.
Whether you're scrolling through news or chatting with friends, keep asking: #ObijjaWa?
Have a thoughtful weekend, everyone!
"Based on a true story. Well, many true stories."
Ever seen someone share obvious fake news for likes like Tabani Juuko?
This episode exposes the wannabe influencer pipeline and shows you exactly how NOT to use social media.
