Two things you’re supposed to love unconditionally: your children and your football club.
One of the criticisms I’ve heard is that “God forbid we have standards.”
God should forbid it. Lose a final, get relegated, play shite, lose 4-0: still support. #YNWA
There’s nobody in the Liverpool squad who featured today that I’d call out by name as being not good enough or at fault exclusively for today’s result.
But I wrote this during the @thisisanfield live blog and I think it’s a problem given the money already spent. #LIVARS
There’s a born and raised Scouser with two Premier League medals and a wand of a right foot currently stuck as Real Madrid’s third choice right back.
I’d suggest Liverpool should look into it but he wouldn’t get into the team over Big Ronald Araujo right now #YNWA
Not got eyes on #LIVVIL but following along the @thisisanfield live blog. Sounds like Virgil Van Dijk is having a bad game.
Considering it would be his first, 384 appearances in, I’d be tempted to let him off. #YNWA
With the City sanctions on the way and Arsenal lacking a credible rival amongst the Big Six, Brighton could genuinely be dark horses for the title this season.
Obviously I want Liverpool to win the league every year, but if it isn't us, Brighton would be amazing. #PremierLeague
Only Barcelona (39) have scored more goals than Brighton (23) in Europe's top five leagues this season.
A 5-0 demolition of rivals Crystal Palace — with Diego Gomez's goal the pick of the bunch, catching Walter Benitez out from the halfway line — lifts Fabian Hurzeler's side above Arsenal.
It's a good time to be a Brighton fan.
If you lose 5-0 in a derby nobody cares about, did you even lose at all? #BHACRY

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.
Mad how quickly the conversation around Manchester City is sidling back towards the actual football.
Sanctions can’t come soon enough. Who gives a shit about any game they play or any result they get til then?
Brentford vs. Liverpool is not on tele in the UK.
🔴 Fear not, @mcmulhar has us covered, providing live updates as Alexander Isak and Co. aim to build on Wednesday's win 👊

Shame on you @premierleague ...this is the 2nd time we've been robbed this season and all you do is release useless statements🤦♀️
How do you expect fans to trust the integrity of football when incompetent referees keep making disgraceful decisions week after week?
Already said this several times for @thisisanfield but Andoni Iraola needs a LOT of support from us fans.
FSG have reset us to about 2017 with him but £100m signings cost you patience. I expect Iraola will deliver trophies by 2030 but unlikely we’ll get any this season. #YNWA

In the last month, City have had an offside goal given against United, an Elliot Anderson handball not given against Sunderland, Gravenberch sent off for two soft yellows against Liverpool, and they’ve been found guilty of industrial scale cheating. The Premier League is a farce.

Chris Kavanagh, from Greater Manchester.
Rodri handball at Everton. Kane’s tackle on Robertson. Ødegaard’s handball at Anfield. Van Dijk’s disallowed goal against City. Now Gravenberch sent off.
At what point does it stop becoming a coincidence?
We all knew Manchester City were cheating financial rules but we had to wait 8 years to get a verdict so we could talk about it.
How long before we can talk about the biased officiating in their favour? #MCI
A lot of expectation on Liverpool today but the whole point is City’s cheating has given them an unbelievable sporting advantage.
This team is nowhere near City’s level on paper. Anfield will be a big equaliser but Liverpool are absolutely not favourites. #LIVMCI #YNWA
Chances mostly created from high turnovers or well-worked set pieces. Same personnel (Arne Slot & Aaron Briggs) who ended up being slated for slow football and poor set piece goal difference. Short memories 🤷 #YNWA
Another piece I wrote for @thisisanfield on the Florian Wirtz conundrum. One of my favourite pieces I’ve written and responsible for definitely my favourite negative comment of all time - worth clicking the link below for that alone #LFC #YNWA
How to judge Florian Wirtz: Klopp reminded us the truth of Liverpool form
