Communications attorneys that I talk to all say there isn't anything in the Comm Act that would bar a TV station from airing a live execution. Indecency complaints could be filed afterward, but it's not even clear that an execution would run afoul of those rules.

Numerous speakers at #AnchorNets2026: Parents got legit concerns about excessive screen use in classrooms, but looking at E-rate and federal support of schools' connectivity is wrong way to tackle it. @comm_Daily at @SHLBCoalition conference.

@BrendanCarrFCC answer to @mdaneman on US cap order delay: "I think we are going to be moving forward in short order with that pursuant to our normal timelines and procedures" Full answer: youtu.be/pc3FXO6NvBY?si=cnjF…
To put the FCC delay on national ownership cap in some context, the FCC has voted on 89 public-meeting items in the last two years: --84 were released within 5 days --4 were released in 6-9 days This order is still unreleased after 54 days.

Obvious solution to my not having enough reading time in my life: get a job running a major airline.
United CEO Kirby describes his day -- 8.5 hours of sleep, wakes at 530 am, reads email for 5 minutes, works out, reads WSJ "cover to cover" and 15 minutes of NYT -- also reads five magazines, two books a week (favors science fiction), reads three hours a day, no more four hours of meetings per day
