It is, in fact, already upon us. Has anyone noticed how hot it is even with the AC on or after bath??
Super El Niño heat wave is hotter than any we've experienced and will mostly affect northern Nigeria.
Many will suffocate in their sleep from the unusually high temperatures. There will be disruptions in weather patterns affecting farmers, and food prices are likely to rise as a result.
There will be high cases of malaria and waterborne diseases causing diarrhea. Many food will spoil this period, do not cover cooked food tightly.
Ensure to wear light and bright colored clothing, have water with you always, and take showers before you sleep and if possible sleep unclothed this period.
Livestock farmers are not spared. The heat will claim animals, so keep them hydrated.
My heart goes out to prisoners, heavy sweaters, and pregnant women during this period.

My wife and I have been married for 14 years, and we have four wonderful children together.
We got married young after dating in high school. Our relationship started with plenty of affection, but things became difficult when we began married life. We struggled with intimacy, and over time, the distance between us only grew.
For years, I’ve felt like I’m the only one trying to keep our relationship alive. Whenever I initiate affection, she turns me down or makes it feel like an obligation. Eventually, even the emotional connection disappeared.
