played against this bot like 3 times today. we rly got to save ourselves from this bs, i like my ranked grinds 😭
#noclankers
probably just played my best week of smash ever so i gotta make a lil post about it 😁
won 3 locals, double swept games at UNC, and got 2nd at OE6. first ever wins this week on Murdock, YoungCorgi, and a 3-0 on Zimberfizz.
the Zas is next. ggs!
finally got one of these again :)
i love playing both games. i feel like each game gives me something worth thinking about in the other, like nair tech chasing with yoshi or abusing fox FH. ult enforces restraint that's not necessary in melee, but can still go a long way
ggs!
9th at tym 3 😅 BUT i finally grabbed the ledge for the first time in my life. almost choked it but felt a wave of inspiration from the spirit of jake crayons. positively ⚡️electric⚡️ doubles comeback on display here, ggs to our fierce opponents
it was my bday today! we celebrated by having an all kirby bracket to find dr. evil’s apprentice. lucas noteworm won and took $5 from jake crayons 😈 a true prodigy of evil
went to a tournament p much every day this week. battled with my mental and getting 2nd or 3rd like 5 times. been giving out a lot of 'wp' instead of 'gg' after my sets recently. everyone is so strong... it's beautiful! the eternal flame of smash burns bright
#sunday
what a fest yesterday! our biggest yet at 51 total entrants, and my first LAN pg stats platinum - shoutouts to fox mccloud and coach chi for telling me to be more sweaty. and an extra big shoutout to duck hunt DOG for saving my ass in ult
ggs!
and for the first time in addition to ult... it's the UNC SSBM PR for spring '26! congrats to everyone who made it, love seeing more and more people trying out melee at our events. melee is so sick :)
it's the UNC Smash Ultimate PR for spring '26! congrats to everyone who made it, our scene has grown so much over these past few years. gonna be sick to see some of the new talent on here push even further💪
realized today how much i wanna hang with the big dogs and push my melee as far as i can. sometimes the most heartbreaking losses reveal the most and push the furthest - remembering it's all part of the process
ggs only
final day of dr. evil
4 days and 93 sets later, dr. evil has finally achieved his goal of hitting plat. what a ride. so many falcos bair'ed, marths edgeguarded, and mid-tiers exploited...
...who should i do next 🫣
day 2 of ranked dr evil. one must imagine sisyphus pushing the boulder with a smile on his face
#progress
