19 years ago today, unranked Florida State beat #2 Boston College 27 to 17. Boston College entered the matchup undefeated at 8-0 (5-0 ACC) and ranked No. 2 in the nation, led by quarterback Matt Ryan. With just 1:10 remaining in the fourth quarter and Florida State holding a narrow 20-17 lead, FSU linebacker Geno Hayes intercepted Matt Ryan and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown to seal the upset.
