Every time I see another story of scammers taking millions from taxpayers through caregiver fraud I want to light things on fire. For weeks my very elderly, wheelchair-bound neighbor has relied on other neighbors and I to care for her because her “caregiver” just *disappears* for days a time. She just called and asked if I could take care of her for the next two days because her caregiver is leaving again - at least he let her know this time. The number of elderly Americans being abused and neglected is horrifying and instead of money flowing to get them the care and support they need, it's been flowing to the least-deserving humans you can imagine who *should not even be in this country...* And there are people who DON'T want to expose it all? There are people who DON'T want to deport third world scam artists?

Was not expecting this but very cool: The White House is acknowledging Reformation Day. “The Sacred Scriptures helped form the religious convictions that formed our young Nation’s founding ideals of God-given rights and individual liberty, a spiritual inheritance we honor as we continue to reflect on 250 glorious years of American Independence.  The Bible remains a cornerstone of our Nation’s character and upholds our steadfast devotion to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” whitehouse.gov/briefings-sta…

But the program is more corrupt than just that. The woman obviously knows her aide wasn't showing up, but she never told anyone. She convinced the government that she was so sick that she couldn't survive without a taxpayer-funded aide–but that can't be true, because she was doing exactly that. The record has a phone number the government can use to contact the patient to make sure everything is as expected. But the second patient's phone number isn't really hers. It belongs to this man with a felony conviction for welfare fraud, who nonetheless works in "refugee resettlement" and home care, and is tied to a top Gaunley official.

Always a reassuring sign when the government starts taking down names of its critics…
NOW — The Home Office has released the list of social media posts its Standards and Compliance Unit observed about Prevent in 2024. The department disclosed: • A post of mine criticising a local-council training module that directed staff to report anyone sharing “anti-immigration views” to counter-terrorism police. • A post from @Con_Tomlinson criticising the Home Office’s RICU unit and the fact Prevent designated Douglas Murray a far-right extremist. Dozens of other public posts and articles are listed raising the same position, “Prevent training focuses heavily on the far-right while downplaying Islamist extremism.” This unit, known as “StaCU” - is collecting and logging criticism of Prevent’s training bias. The original request for this material was refused under national-security and health-and-safety exemptions. Disclosure only happened after the applicant went to the ICO.

Stanford University student Elsa Johnson became a target of the Chinese Communist Party in 2024. Elsa attended a private school as a child with a heavy focus on foreign languages and became fluent in Mandarin Chinese while still in elementary school. Years later after she was accepted to Stanford, she studied international relations and researched Chinese industry and military tactics while working at the Hoover Institution on campus. She soon came to the attention of members of the Chinese Communist Party, which has a heavy presence at Stanford and throughout Southern California. There are currently more than 1,000 Chinese students attending Stanford each year, and the university has received more than $64,000,000 in private donations from Chinese individuals and organizations since 2010. In June 2024, a man claiming to be a fellow Stanford student named Charles Chen contacted her online. She was not initially suspicious as they had many mutual associates, and his photos and posts appeared to be centered on campus. But his questions and requests quickly put her on edge as he invited her on a paid trip to China. And he seemingly knew details about her that she had never shared with him. When she tried to disengage with him, she began receiving threatening phone calls by Chinese speakers. Elsa contacted Stanford administrators and the FBI, who told her Charles was likely affiliated with the Ministry of State Security, had been posing as a Stanford student for years, and had targeted at least ten other female students since 2020 in a similar manner. They also told her she was under physical surveillance on campus by the Chinese Communist Party. Elsa wrote articles in the Stanford Review and The Free Press about Chinese influence on campus, and in March 2026 testified about espionage threats on college campuses before the House Committee on Education and Workforce. For episode 270 of the Spycraft 101 podcast I spoke with Elsa about being targeted by a foreign government right in the middle of a US college campus. I agree with my Christian friends that many of the blessings of America are the blessings of their Christian faith brought to fruit. I have therefore written this short letter to them about why it has worked here in America so much more than anywhere else.

wild to hear the word "authoritarian" from a man supporting a party openly committed to packing our supreme court, abolishing the concept of private property, and jailing men throughout the tech industry explicitly to scare others from working for republicans
We should get money out of politics. And while others spend outrageous amounts to keep authoritarian clowns in power, those of us who believe in the ideals of America cannot yield.

A reminder that the Obama DOJ threw Connecticut cops IN PRISON and ruined their lives for persisting in their very annoying practice of *arresting any illegal immigrants they caught driving with fake licenses*
EXCLUSIVE: University Hockey Captain Killed in Wrong Way Collision With Twice-Deported Mexican Illegal in Sanctuary Connecticut A beloved member of the University of New Haven community was killed in a head-on collision with a driver who is in the U.S. illegally, federal authorities have confirmed with Border Hawk. The tragedy unfolded at around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 16 in North Haven, Connecticut. Ryan O’Shea, 21, was driving southbound on Interstate 91 when a pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction slammed into his Honda Accord, causing his vehicle to strike two SUVs, Connecticut State Police (CSP) explained in an accident summary. O’Shea, who was on his way back to campus after playing in a hockey game, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, who suffered “serious life-threatening injuries,” was identified as 31-year-old Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut. “In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, after he illegally entered the country. Carmona-Lopez was issued an expedited removal and was removed from the country,” the Department of Homeland Security told us. “He then illegally reentered the country near the Rio Grande Valley after being removed—a felony—and was once again arrested by Border Patrol in May 2013. Carmona-Lopez was issued a final order of removal on May 30, 2013. He then reentered the country at an unknown time and place.” It is currently unclear if Carmona-Lopez will face charges in connection with the crash. A resident of Stony Point, New York, O’Shea served as senior assistant captain of the university’s club hockey team and also chapter president of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was studying criminal justice with a concentration in police science and aspired to work for the New York Police Department. “Ryan was not only a great leader, but he was a caring friend to anyone around him. He always knew how to light up a room and make people laugh, no matter the time. Ryan’s leadership and the memories he has made will never be forgotten,” Kappa Sigma wrote in an Instagram post memorializing O’Shea. Ryan’s sisters said he “always found a way to make everything positive.” “He was always trying to go out of the way to help others and include them in new spaces if they didn’t know anyone,” Kiera O’Shea stated. Two memorial scholarships have been established in Ryan O’Shea’s name. Contributions can be made here. We contacted CSP to request more information on this investigation and Carmona-Lopez’s current condition and will provide updates if they become available.

A San Francisco Federal Reserve paper recently found that the influx of unauthorized immigrants under the radical left accounted for 20% of rent growth during the 2021-2024 Bidenflation surge. By contrast, President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies are producing the opposite effect. State-level data show a strong association between increased immigration enforcement and more affordable rents. @POTUS will always put American families FIRST.

Since World War II the president's party loses an average of 26 to 27 House seats and about 3 to 4 Senate seats in the US midterm elections. Are Republicans at average? Maybe. The House changed hands in 2006, 2010, 2018 and 2022. A few days from now it may change hands again. If it does, 2026 will be the seventh straight midterm in which one chamber of Congress or the other changed parties. We are inclined to treat this as a symptom of our own era: cable news, social media, polarization, a broken politics. History suggests something else. The country has been here before, and the reasons were less about politics than about the people doing the voting. If you want to understand why I got this: salenazito.substack.com/p/th… i

NEW UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATION: I spent several months investigating a nationwide network of advocacy organizations and medical providers helping families continue medically transitioning their children in defiance of state laws. My investigation centers on Campaign for Southern Equality (CSE), an LGBT advocacy nonprofit that connects families with cooperating medical providers across the country. CSE has distributed over $1 million in travel grants to more than 1,200 families, plus another $1 million to partner organizations, including funding for medical appointments. With CSE's knowledge, providers in its referral network told me the ways that they circumvent state restrictions on gender-transition treatments for minors. Some discussed using alternative diagnosis codes, such as “endocrine disorder,” to facilitate prescriptions or insurance coverage. Others described mailing medications directly to families' homes or sending prescriptions to pharmacies in states where these interventions are banned. Providers also discussed conducting virtual appointments with patients in those states. Others required patients to cross state lines for telehealth but did not appear to have a reliable method for verifying their physical location. My primary undercover scenario involved an 11-year-old girl in Tennessee who had only recently begun identifying as nonbinary, with no long history of gender-related distress. The providers I shared this scenario with seemed eager to treat her. Many indicated that puberty blockers could be prescribed after an initial evaluation lasting just one to several hours. My investigation uncovered practices that may violate state and federal laws and pose medical risks to children living hundreds or thousands of miles from their treating physicians.
