SpaceX Super Intelligence (@SpaceXSI) launched its Partner Network today, and Bird is a Launch Partner.
Add the Bird plugin to Cursor and your agent can write a welcome email, send it, and confirm it was delivered without you leaving the editor.

New guide in the Tinybird docs: send @messagebird webhooks to Tinybird.
Point a Bird webhook at the Events API and query email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Apple Messages events with SQL. No server needed.

Bird is now in Replit Agent's MCP list.
Ask Agent to send an email. One sign-in, one secret, and your app sends from the first run. No SMTP, no SDK setup, no docs tab.
Built with @Replit
The team at @encoredotdev put together a tutorial on building SMS appointment reminders with Bird, so you can send reminders automatically and keep track of delivery.
You'll try it out locally before deploying to your own cloud.

🙍♀️ AI agent: "𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱."
🤖: "𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴. 𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘱 10+ 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵."
Yep. That's the problem!
Agents can write code. But they can't follow up on emails or texts. So annoying.
Every time an agent needs to reach the outside world, someone builds a custom integration. Email. WhatsApp. Voice. I don't need ONE MORE custom integration! 😭
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁, it's not a feature. It should be infrastructure the agent plugs into.
That's why I'm excited about @messagebird's new Agentic Harness. This is what we need to scale communication from agents to humans.
👍 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻: Agents like Codex and Claude Code still reason, plan, and decide. Bird doesn't replace that layer.
👍 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀: Email, messaging, calls, even an eSIM phone plan. One harness. No custom integrations.
👍 𝗜𝘁 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲: The same platform that moves trillions of messages a year is now open to agents.
👍 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁: Bird automated heavily inside its own company. They lowered prices for customers. And built a profitable business doing it.
So now you can ask an agent: "𝘍𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘶𝘱 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘰."
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 was the hard part of the last two years. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 is the hard part of the next two.
Congrats to @RobertDVis and the Bird team for the investments and momentum!
Map the reply before you send the update. With Bird Two-Way SMS, a customer’s response can become an input to your service workflow. What should that next step be? #TwoWaySMS

Bird secures $450M and opens its infrastructure to AI agents.
Debt financing led by J.P. Morgan. Still private and independent.
Meet Agentic Harness: agents can email, use WhatsApp, make calls—even get their own eSIM.
What would you build with it?
