Experimenting, this is the first actual snowball running on a new protocol we just created.

Paying for dex will explain everything shortly.
dex paid, article coming next.
created the first self-market making protocol that I believe will be widely adopted.
coins will not only multiply, they will grow exponentially.
there was a small bug affecting the creation of stock-paired pools, but it’s now been fixed.
stock pairs are officially live.
launch against $NVDAx, $SPYx, $TSLAx and more. fees build a reserve in the paired asset, which continuously funds buybacks and burns.
self market-making, now powered by tokenized stocks.

Custom stock pairs are now live on metball.
You can now launch self market-making tokens directly against tokenized stocks and RWAs:
$SPYx, $CRCLx, $NVDAx, solana:Xsv9hRk1z5ystj9MhnA7Lq4vjSsLwzL2nxrwmwtD3re, $TSLAx, solana:Xsa62P5mvPszXL1krVUnU5ar38bBSVcWAB6fmPCo5Zu, solana:Xs7ZdzSHLU9ftNJsii5fCeJhoRWSC32SQGzGQtePxNu, solana:XsvNBAYkrDRNhA7wPHQfX3ZUXZyZLdnCQDfHZ56bzpg, $MSTRx, $MSFTx
Each launch can now be paired directly against the asset of your choice. Trading generates fees in that paired asset, which accumulate in the reserve and fund continuous buybacks and burns.
A token paired with $NVDAx builds its reserve in $NVDAx and uses that reserve to market-make itself.

gm everyone.
got some much-needed rest and now we’re back at it.
the keeper engine briefly went offline while i was away after a crash, but the issue has been fixed and it’s now live and running normally again.
working on some deeper integrations today with @MeteoraEco and a few other pieces that should make the system a lot more interesting as everything starts connecting together.
more soon.
it’s been roughly 17 hours since $metball went live.
150 SOL has already flowed through self market-making buybacks, permanently burning $16.2K of supply across 24 live coins. 2 have already graduated.
volume → fees → reserve → buybacks → burns
things are just getting started.

accelerando.
we’ve been live for 13 hours and have already permanently removed over 13.8% of $metball from the float.
for comparison, @LaunchOnSF has been live for over a month and burned roughly 17% of its supply.
we’ve been live for 13 hours. let that sink in.
we’re now working on custom pairs and deeper integrations across the @MeteoraAG ecosystem, allowing tokens to market-make themselves against memecoins, tokenized stocks, RWAs, and other onchain assets.
the stonk supercycle was fun, but we think there is room for an entirely new meta built around tokens that don’t just launch and trade, but actively recycle their own volume back into the mechanics governing their market.
we want metball to become one of the most configurable ways to launch on Meteora and push self market-making tokens into an entirely new category.
gmet.
apologies for the lack of communication over the last few hours.
we’ve been heads down working on what we think is one of the biggest upgrades to metball since launch.
custom pairing will be live shortly.
instead of every token market-making itself against SOL, creators will be able to choose the asset their token is paired against, including tokenized stocks, RWAs, memecoins, and other onchain assets.
this means you could launch a token paired against a tokenized stock, have its volume generate fees in that asset, and use those fees to continuously market-make the token against it.
the same applies to RWAs, memecoins, or practically any supported asset.
we want metball to become the place where creators can experiment with entirely different self market-making structures, not just launch the same mechanism with a different ticker.
custom pairs are the first major step toward that.
more soon.
it’s 10%. the docs are incorrect and are being fixed right now.
we’re also adding custom pairs to metball, allowing you to launch tokens that market-make themselves against tokenized stocks, memecoins, RWAs, and other onchain assets.
any asset can become the reserve and settlement layer behind a self market-making token, opening up entirely new mechanics for how these launches behave.
more soon.

While launching the coin it says 75% goes to the platform. Is it 10% of fee or 75% of fee? How much of it is used to buyback and burn? Is it already implemented or currently only metball's reserves only used for BnB?
Yes, everything cycles back into solana:QrevJp2pxTYFe39SiZfGJ3koUffLtuSNdxLf2ymV8Y5.
We earn roughly 10% of creator fees on every launch and those fees are used to market buy solana:QrevJp2pxTYFe39SiZfGJ3koUffLtuSNdxLf2ymV8Y5 and burn.
Will update docs to reflect this better.

Does platform make any revenue from the coin launches? If yes, what happens to the platform revenue? Any of that flows to the main coin?
