We appreciate @GovMikeKehoe’s letter and take this matter seriously. The Missouri Attorney General's Office is legally responsible for enforcing Missouri's Sunshine Law—a cornerstone of government transparency that ensures the public’s right to access information about their government. Our office will conduct a thorough investigation to determine whether any violations occurred. Government belongs to the people, and they deserve public officials who conduct business in the open, not behind closed doors. We will follow the law wherever it leads and uphold the transparency to which Missouri citizens are entitled.
