AZIMUTH // HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DAGON by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Rob Steen (l) We've got our own multiversal that! A good combination and some sly comments of others in the text and the art.

HERNE & SHUCK // STORMING THE STONE by David Barnett (w) Lee Milmore (a) Quinton Winter (c) Annie Parkhouse (l) A fun issue and a lot going on. I love the action and the way it was set up. This continues to be an excellent story.

Star-Crossed #3 is out now from Dark Horse Comics. This had some fun twists and turns, taking a darker tone towards the end. We know the characters as on a shorter lifespan, but how short is the question?

I like the bounty hunters and how that was played out – I didn't see that coming, and it had an entertaining twist in the tale. The money is slowly slipping away, and I wonder if it will all get spent!

There's some vibrant art and colouring here, and I find that fits nicely with the tone of the story. Some of the character designs are excellent, and they add to the richness of the worlds created. There were some interesting comments about MCU movies here!

The Omega Book #3 is out this week from Mad Cave Studios. This continues to be an interesting concept, with some action and mystery to back it up. There is a degree of father-son bonding here, and it is well plotted and looks to build up to another seperation.

I like the framing of the transport through this other space, with a good setup and the consequences of delving too deeply. The artwork is excellent, and this looks to continue as the quest to destroy the book does. There are more threats to come!

Bludwire #4 is out now from Mad Cave Studios. Is it really the penultimate issue? Yes, there is a lot going on in this issue with the relationship between the two droids being very tense in parts. It seems like there is a lot to sort out before the ending, though.

This issue and this series have had some excellent art, and this one is no different. Some of the reaction shots have been superb, and I like the side-eye looks that are given. The action is cleverly plotted, and some gore is implied well.

This issue sets us up for a finale that will prove interesting - is there heartbreak on the horizon, or will they escape? Who knows, but I look forward to finding out.

Next up is a fast-paced piece of action on a train, with a feel of the movie Bullet Train. I like this new character and how he operates. It will be interesting to see more of him in the larger stories happening.

Finally there is some corporate issues – and it's not as dull as it may sound! I like the imaginative aspects and there is some fun panelling and lettering in this story. It builds well on the larger picture.
