I don’t mind giving players props. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed spoke respectfully of players in the past.
But the phrasing here of “I don’t want the challenge” as a joke or not, is a mentality issue.
You can show respect without it being soft.
Shift in the locker room is needed.

"It would be cool if I didn’t match up with him so much."
A lot of our fanbase seems to be throwing in the towel already…
The Browns, Steelers and Bengals all have pretty testy if not tough schedules ahead just like we do. I trust 8 to come back and keep us in the fight. Biggest issue that needs to be resolved is the defense. If they adjust over the coming weeks and figure out the issues they’ve been having, we’re still fine, though I’ll admit that’s a big “if”.
Mind you this was the only pressure he gave up all game against one of the best DT’s in the NFL. Eagles fans are so horny to be right about him it’s wild lmao

Ravens have obvious issues in all three phases but when you need to drop your QB back to throw it on a must-have third-and-2, that's pretty telling
The decline of the Ravens run game has been striking, particularly in short-yardage.

The best way I can put what I just watched between the #Ravens and #Bengals:
I didn’t expect the Ravens to win today. Even with a two-score lead at halftime, I wasn’t convinced they would hold on.
But what bothered me most wasn’t the loss itself. It was how this team responded when things started going wrong.
The Bengals came out of halftime and scored with ease. The Ravens followed that up with a three-and-out. At that moment, fans felt like the game was over. I felt like the game was over. And watching the players, it almost seemed like they felt the exact same way.
The body language changed. Mistakes started compounding. The energy disappeared. It felt like everyone was waiting for someone else to make a play instead of taking it upon themselves to change the momentum.
To me, that’s a leadership problem.
Someone has to step up in those moments. Whether it’s on the field, on the sidelines, or between drives, somebody has to be vocal, hold people accountable, and get everyone locked back in.
Adversity is inevitable in the NFL. You’re going to give up touchdowns. You’re going to have bad drives. You’re going to lose momentum. But the response to those moments is what separates good teams from bad ones.
And right now, this team looks like one that allows a single bad sequence to completely unravel everything they’ve built.
I’m not questioning anyone’s effort or desire to win. I’m questioning who’s taking ownership when things start falling apart.
Because talent isn’t the issue. This team has enough talent to compete with just about anybody.
But when adversity hits, somebody has to be the one to stop the bleeding.
And right now, I’m not seeing that person.

Lamar Jackson is hands down the best player in football
No one else hides a teams flaws like him
Literally no one
The Ravens lack the ability to hit back… they can hit first, they can get a quick combo off to start a fight. But as soon as their chin gets checked they forget everything they know and get their asses beat
LMAOOOOO yeah GGs bruh… Lamar back next week. Long season, it is what it is. Gotta win out in the division though
