As part of the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension Phase 2, we’ll be holding a drop-in session on Wednesday this week at Woodside Methodist Church.
Please note: from the evening of 4 Aug, work will be taking place on the Dudley Canal Mainline aqueduct at Dudley Port between 17:00 - 00:00 on weekdays, for up to four weeks.
As Phase One of the route to Dudley is testing away, Phase Two to Merry Hill is experiencing a GLOW UP with the first new structure beginning to be installed bit by bit across the canal near the Waterfront.
Be advised: Overnight activity is taking place along Phase One of the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill scheme, from tonight until Thursday, at various locations for short durations as Benckler Plates are cut, drilled and installed.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
Tomorrow will see the last drop-in session held at Tipton Muslim Community Centre.
The sessions at Dudley will also no longer be taking place, as we near completion of construction on Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Extension Phase One, and prepare for handover to the operator.
Due to poor weather conditions, the overnight works on King Street, Flood Street and Castle Hill have been extended to 22 June. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, our drop-in at Tipton Community Centre on 8th April will no longer be taking place.
