People keep asking me if Goldstein is more like Shekel, StonkBrokers, Index, or what?
The answer is Yes. There’s a little of each, and some of my own original design. But most are missing the real DNA, the core mechanism isn’t from any of them. It’s from Terra Luna.
In all my years I’ve never seen a more compelling value capture built into a token than LUNA. I’ve also never seen an ecosystem as alive as Terra in its golden age. The problem was never value capture, it was the stablecoin backed by nothing.
To mint UST you had to burn LUNA. Every dollar of demand for UST pulled LUNA off the market. That single loop grew Terra into a $40B ecosystem. Goldstein is designed the same way.
We use the same mechanism, with the backing side fixed. Instead of an algorithm, gFUNDS are fully backed by RWA's and real assets, redeemable any time.
