….An Old Hater DJ.
Happy Halloween y’all! 🎃😜
Fans of Hip Hop journalism, give this a listen!
Feeling all the love from the positive response to my interview with the legend @questlove. We went deep into 80s Philly, my first music job at Power 99, and the origins of @TheSource at Harvard.
It was a free-flowing music-centric conversation that I'm honored to be a part of. Feels so damn great when someone gets all your references, right?
Special thanks @eddiemaclv @djbrettb and the world class @qls squad. Part 1 is below, Part 2 next week...

“Young men are moving further right and that’s because of democrats not speaking nicely enough to them.”
Orrrrrrrr, what if young men are susceptible to fascism and maybe y’all should think about why that is instead of acting like it’s all the mean Mommy’s fault.

There are no words powerful enough to capture the agony of human beings being massacred & burned alive.
The U.S. is funding & arming the Israeli military’s extermination of the Palestinian people. It’s unconscionable.
End this genocide. There must be an #ArmsEmbargoNow

Dunking on trans people is some lazy-ass shit. Live your life and let them live theirs and whatnot.

People love to blame everything but themselves for their struggles these days. DJs aren't responsible for your dating life. We play what the crowd reacts to – if you can't vibe, you should look inward. Accountability in 2024 seems like a forgotten concept. Dating crisis? LMAO!
