"As a basketball player, I did not feel like myself," Wemby said.

Victor Wembanyama said he was indecisive tonight and felt like he was overthinking things. Felt like that played a major role in his struggles.

Victor Wembanyama on the MVP trophy: "It's a big goal this year, but coming off a Finals loss, it's not the first thing on my mind". About finishing 3rd last year: "It wasn't really a surprise. I think it was close, everyone at the top of that race could have made their own case, but Jokic and Shai each had more arguments than I did".

Victor Wembanyama actually said that at his height, he couldn't ride anything safely yesterday at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Whole team was there yesterday (minus Luke Kornet) to get in a day off together ahead of the season opener.
