genuinely the difference between someone sharing a pdf of a fic and a link to said fic is that readers will be directed to ao3 and be able to kudo/comment BUT RN THERES NO AO3 if i shared a fic with 1000 people by link to ao3 and they all downloaded it, would that upset you?

omg people arent "posting" fanfics on google drive, they already had those fics downloaded, like a small archive of their own, it's a temporary fix, people will eventually go back to ao3. nobody it's getting money out of sharing them and they still got your username
