Web3 marketing analytics has always sucked balls so we built a platform for that gives you all the stuff google analytics tells you plus onchain events/attribution. it lets you see which channels and campaigns are driving token sales/swaps/wallet connects/etc, which influencers are performing well (and which arent). you can connect X, tiktok, meta, google (ga4 + GSC), telegram, discord, etc. its the tool the @coinbound always wish we had Its now in beta and we'd love to give a handful of people (just a few) free beta access so we can make the product even better. Comment 'interested' if you want beta access

Mintfunnel just launched GA4 for Web3 Pre-packaged tracking for every key onchain event (connects, mints, swaps, purchases). Real-time data tying all your traffic to conversions you actually care about First 50 users can get it for free
GA4 can tell you a visitor came from a paid campaign. It can't tell you if they connected a wallet, minted, swapped, or bought anything. We just fixed that. Mintfunnel Analytics ships pre-wired for every key onchain event, wallet connects, mints, swaps, purchases, next to every channel, page, and source. Live today. Try it for free: mintfunnel.co/web3-analytics…

the reason crypto ad budgets stay small is nobody could prove what the spend actually produced. "we got 50k clicks" doesn't mean anything. "we drove 1,200 wallet connects and 800 token purchases across ethereum and base" does. that's what we built @mintfunnel to do. attribution that maps to what actually happened onchain, not what happened on a website.

Most crypto marketing still stops at the click. @mintfunnel CEO @TySmithHQ explains how onchain attribution connects ad spend to wallet connects, swaps, mints & token buys. Can it unlock bigger #Web3 budgets? See how Mintfunnel measures onchain ROI. ⚡️ blockster.com/crypto-finally…

this was a tough nut to crack but damn is it exciting Mintfunnel is now one of the only platforms in the world allowing crypto advertisers to directly attribute their on-chain growth to their campaigns so much more to come
On-chain attribution is now live Advertisers can now directly link their ad campaigns to on-chain events like wallet connects, token & NFT purchases, smart contract interactions, and more.

Mintfunnel has been shipping features faster than we can announce. Feels like a major disservice to the product team. Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid video editor that can handle this? Probably need a video per week. Looking for “I’m using AI for this but it’s still extremely good” pricing

here’s something we don’t talk about enough: @coinbound turns away more than 95% of the brands that reach out to us. not because we’re trying to be exclusive or because we think we’re too good for anyone. it’s because we refuse to take on a client we can’t absolutely crush it for. i’ve seen what happens when agencies say yes to everyone. they spread thin, results suffer, and the clients that actually deserved great work get watered-down effort. we’d rather have a shorter roster of wins than a long list of “we tried our best.” every time we onboard someone, our reputation is on the line. in crypto, that reputation travels fast (in both directions) so when we evaluate an inbound lead, we’re asking: 1- do we have the right team 2- the right connections 3- the right strategy to genuinely move the needle for this project? (Or are they at least receptive enough to the strategy we are proposing?) if the answer isn’t a confident yes, we pass. it’s one of the hardest parts of running the agency. turning down revenue is never easy but it’s also one of the things i’m most proud of. the clients we do work with know we chose them just as much as they chose us. that changes the dynamic completely. it becomes a partnership, not a transaction. selectivity is a reciprocal commitment to the people who trust you with their growth. More agencies need to work this way

coinbound has now survived four crypto bear markets. the first one i genuinely thought the show was over. i remember watching in terror as inbound dried up and wondering if i'd built something real or just gotten lucky on timing. it was brutal. the second one was still scary, but it felt familiar. like i'd seen this movie before. i knew there was probably an ending where things came back, i just didn't know how long it would take. this most recent one? barely noticed it. inbound slows down, we adjust, we keep building. the show very much goes on. i read a book recently called "Life Lessons from the Ocean" (its a picture book) that put words to something i'd been experiencing without fully understanding it. it talked about a species of seaweed that grows and shrinks with the seasons, and how that's actually the secret to its survival. when conditions get stormy, seaweed that's grown too large gets ripped out of the ground and dies. so it evolved to get bigger in the summer and smaller in the stormy winters. it doesnt look at shrinking as bad, growing as good. they are both part of the cycle of survival. that's the only playbook that works in crypto. not infinite growth mode year round. controlled expansion, honest contraction when needed, and enough roots to hold when things get rough. the businesses that die in bear markets usually don't die because of the bear market. they die because they scaled like the storm was never coming and didnt give themselves the freedom to cut back when the stormy winter came.

Most people treat marketing like a one-time event. Launch. Big push. Hope it hits. But marketing is really just: 1- distribution 2- patience If you show up consistently in the right places, you win. If you disappear every time you don’t get instant results, you lose. That’s the whole game.

I used to think growth meant doing more. now i think growth is mostly doing fewer things… longer than everyone else is willing to. consistency + focus is boring, but it’s basically undefeated.

ICYMI, in the past few months, @NYSE and @The_DTCC have both made absolutely MAJOR pushes into tokenization of the assets we all own. Remember when we were all a bunch of nobodies sitting around a coffee shop in 2017 talking about how blockchain would take over the world. yeah, well..its happening.
Today, NYSE is proud to announce the development of a platform for trading and on-chain settlement of tokenized securities. NYSE’s new digital platform will enable tokenized trading experiences, including 24/7 operations, instant settlement, orders sized in dollar amounts, and stablecoin-based funding. Its design combines the NYSE’s cutting-edge Pillar matching engine with blockchain-based post-trade systems. Learn more: businesswire.com/news/home/2…

This is honestly the biggest news to hit Crypto SEO in a long time. CoinTelegraph has been effectively scrubbed from Google. What was recently one of the most visited crypto news sources (2-4M+ monthly organic visitors) is now at near-zero organic traffic. Seriously...Google "CoinTelegraph", it will send you to a @CoinDesk page (Smart SEO move by their team, btw). I've read into everything I could find on the matter and dug into what people observed, the most likely explanations, and the real lesson for publishers (crypto or otherwise). The strongest hypothesis: Google’s crackdown on site reputation abuse (“parasite SEO”), potentially tied to an iGaming/casino directory and third-party/affiliate-driven content patterns Google has been targeting. If you run a media brand or content site, the takeaways are: 1- Don’t bolt unrelated, high-risk affiliate verticals onto a trusted news domain 2- Treat third-party content partnerships like a compliance risk, not a growth hack 3- Build distribution that doesn’t die when one Google switch flips (newsletters, etc.) 4- Have a “Google incident” playbook ready (Search Console, audits, noindex/removals, etc.) I wrote the full breakdown here (and I linked a video that uncovered a lot of the details too) What do you think happened: algorithmic quality tightening, policy enforcement, or both? coinbound.io/what-happened-c…

Building @mintfunnel’s ad network has been extremely fun but totally different from building an agency. Here are some things I’m finding… On cash: Cash flow is rarely a problem for agencies. It can easily become one for platforms. Generally, with agencies, you don’t hire more people until you have very promising prospects lined up. That thinking doesn’t work with platforms. In agencies: your return on cash comes almost instantaneously. With platforms: you have to spend significant amounts for months or longer before seeing that cash back. Depending on your risk level and wallet size, this could be extended to years, even decades like in the examples of @Uber or @amazon In short, you need a lot more cash available to build a proper platform. We’re considering a fundraise to address this. On devs: Having a good dev team can very much be your unfair advantage. With bad devs, every new feature feels like friction. With good devs, it feels like god-mode. I think it, they make it. I throw out an idea, it’s live within a week or two. All it takes is an idea and some money to create whatever you want. I can clearly see why the most impressive tech platforms were built by a two person team, developer + visionary. With both (and again…cash) you can build insane stuff. On platform participants: When you are at the early stages of building a platform, accepting low quality users is tempting as you try to solve the inherent chicken-egg problems. Don’t do it. I firmly believe that the quality of a platform is determined by the quality of users it will allow. We just did a major purge of publishers that we felt wouldn’t provide sufficient value to the advertisers on Mintfunnel. It was a bit painful (especially for the publishers) but 100% worth it. Similarly, I find it hard to sell a platform that I’m not proud to show people. If I know the advertiser I’m trying to sign is gonna have their ads on spam sites, that’s just not gonna work for me. Also, I’m always found that sales feels 1000x easier when you’re genuinely excited about what youre selling. All in all, learning is why I got into entrepreneurship and this new exploration has been super satisfying in that department. Things are moving fast. Can’t wait to show y’all more soon!
