I really hope Lana makes an announcement for her album(s) this month or else… literally cannot wait any longer.
Haha, 2 years and I didn’t manage to delete this account. I’ve been on Twitter longer but was never able to get my old account back, so here we are. I know I only have a couple active followers, but thanks for being supportive to my little corner where I say whatever I want.
I do remember when the internet was a happier place, now people are just angry, annoying, and rude. I get some joy, but mostly it’s endless scrolling that makes me feel empty. 🤷🏻♀️
I really want to get out of Halifax, been wanting to for a long time but it’s not easy to “just leave”. People are right defensive when you criticize this place, but trust me I’m over it, this world is fucked, but I have to get away and if I had the means to do so, I would.
SMH. I said GILLIAN with a “G”, not Julie with a “G” or whatever people think I say. I know my name isn’t common with Gen Z but come on now, Starbucks…

listen, not everyone's trauma gives them thick skin. some people's trauma made them more sensitive and insecure, they cry more easily, get overwhelmed at small tings. The narrative that trauma makes you stronger is a lie. There is, power in acknowledging it and growing from it
You think you could get some understanding from a sibling but they lack empathy and doesn’t know what it’s like to have an incident on the bus with an older man and feel uncomfortable. Bottom line is that it MADE me uncomfortable and this happens often, I don’t always like buses

One of the saddest feelings I’ve ever experienced is the feeling of not belonging anywhere. I’ve often felt like there’s no place for me in this world, like I’m always a little out of place, even in rooms full of people. Like everyone else has found their people, their place and their purpose, while I’m still trying to figure out where I fit. It’s a strange kind of loneliness because you can have people around you and still feel like nobody truly sees you or understands the way you experience the world. You can be included without feeling like you belong, loved without feeling understood and surrounded by people while still feeling completely alone. I wonder if there’s a place where I won’t have to try so hard to fit in, where I can simply exist as I am and feel accepted without having to explain myself. Maybe what hurts most isn’t being alone. It’s wanting to feel like you belong somewhere and not knowing where that place is.
