Would love feedback from #rstats teachers! Would *you* use it for marking? @jenaesthesia @LisaDeBruine @tw_booth @emilynordmann @ProfAndyField
In the wake of yesterday's assassination attempt, president Biden has condemned, in the strongest terms, all forms of political violence and wished former president Lincoln a speedy recovery

As Jews we are told from a young age that our identities are intrinsically tied to the modern State of Israel.
It is taught to us in Hebrew School, in services, and is a deeply held belief by many of our parents, grandparents and family members.
#Stats #rstats #DataScience how would you model a questionnaire item with options:
- every day
- several times a week
- once a week
- several times a month
- once a month
Would you fit an ordinal model convert to times per month and fit a Poisson model or something else?
0%poisson on times/month
0%ordinal regression
0%other (please comment)

Shockingly incompetent and inflexible service from @DeutschePostDHL! Package getting returned across countries to sender as a result of your own fault. Yet, there is nothing to be done... 1/5
So what now? The package is returned and resent, again with the correct details, and the merry-go-round goes round and round?
What sort of procedures do you have in place that don't allow for a modicum of intelligence and flexibility to work out an issue as tiny as this? 4/5
The package is literally sitting in the next town but has to travel all the way to another country only to be sent back again. "As @DeutschePostDHL, our goal is to reduce our emissions...". Way to go guys! 👏👏👏 5/5

Based on a Friday night convo with @mivalek, I decided to write a quick blog post about how you can call #rustlang from #rstats by writing a little C to glue them together
