“If you cannot get condemnation out of your spirit, you cannot get sin out of your life.”
— Apostle Grace Lubega | @Phanerookampala
Today’s teaching, The Dimensions of Freedom, spoke deeply to me.
For years, I carried so much condemnation because of my past. The mistakes I made, lust ,the addiction, the shame, the things people said about me, and even the things I struggled to forgive myself for.
Even after giving my life to Christ, there were moments when I still looked back at the woman I used to be instead of embracing the woman God was making me.
Today, something really stood out to me: Why do we keep reminding ourselves of what God has already forgiven?
Isaiah 43:25 says, “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.”
I have spent so much of my life explaining my past, defending my transformation, and sometimes feeling like I needed to prove that I had changed.
But I don’t have to earn the freedom Jesus already paid for.
My past is part of my testimony, but it is no longer my identity.
I am not a slave to my past. I am a daughter of God.
And today, through this powerful teaching by Apostle Grace Lubega, I was reminded to stop carrying what Jesus already nailed to the cross.
Hallelujah!

SPIRITUAL ALERTNESS: THE DANGER OF TURNING STONES INTO BREAD
Matthew 4:3–4 (NKJV): “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.’ But He answered and said, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he used the Word to challenge His identity.
One of the most subtle temptations believers, especially insecure leaders, face is the urge to try and prove who they are in God. When the Holy Spirit works through a person, He does not try to prove Himself for personal glory.
The devil often tempts men to use spiritual gifts or positions simply to validate their identity. Turning a stone into bread was certainly within Jesus' power, but doing it out of personal pride or a need to prove Himself would have meant stepping outside the counsel of God.
Do not fall for the trap of trying to prove who you are in God. True security does not come from using spiritual gifts, titles, or public validation to prove your worth. Rest completely in knowing who you are in Christ, and let your life be anchored in doing the Father's will.
FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 10:17–18; Galatians 1:10
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You for my secure identity in Christ. I am free from the trap of insecurity and the urge to use Your power or gifts to prove who I am to others. I am anchored in humility, completely devoted to doing Your will rather than seeking personal vindication. Let my relationship with You be built on pure love and absolute obedience, not merely on what You can do through my hands. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
