This is the greatest video I’ve ever seen. No notes. The lifeless clanker carcass just laying there. No crowd reaction, anything. Just Billie Jean. Until its lifeless shell is shamefully dragged off. Purely amazing.

Accomplished a career highlight this morning by speaking to the one and only @serenawilliams about her health journey after having two kids. ā€œI don’t take short cuts,ā€ she said of the her decision to take a GLP-1. today.com/health/womens-heal…

This still feels surreal: I wrote an essay for NBC on my experience with anorexia for National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. I am so grateful that I get to share this sliver of a long, hard, ongoing story. May we all build lives full of bread & butter. today.com/health/mind-body/a…

When "cooking oil cancer" was trending yesterday, I took a beat from editing to try to stop the misinformation train. Thanks to the experts and author of the study that accidentally started the latest round of seed oil vilification for speaking with me. today.com/health/diet-fitnes…

TODAY: Covid is spreading more now than in any previous back-to-school season. Families are being thrown to the wolves by #LaissezFairePublicHealth. We need surveillance testing, science-driven isolation policies, guidance for universal high-quality well-fitting masks, air purifiers to reach ASHRAE Standard 241, & updated vaccines yesterday. In absence of those policy-based precautions, families must fend for themselves. The only options/tips are non-universal masking (less effective for kids than adults), getting a vaccine next month, and reducing in-home spread. Dr. Malley is spot on. Reduces family risk, but still very bleak long-term, considering 2 waves annually. This is why my family homeschools, aside from a recent summer camp with universal high-quality masking and ASHRAE Standard air cleaning. One forecast shows 1 in 3 people in the US could get COVID between December and February. While a winter wave isn't unexpected, make sure you're up to date on your vaccine, mask in some settings, and stay home when you're sick, experts say. today.com/health/news/covid-…
