I loved every minute of it, but unfortunately, my time at @replayio is over. The company decided to switch gears and will no longer work on test suite solutions. Hence, having someone as deep in testing as me on the team does not make sense. It is a huge bummer, but I understand that the decision was not easy to make, and wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of people who had to make it. Besides myself, this also affected some amazing people I had the privilege to work with. I am still thankful for the experience though, what a ride! Never worked so hard in my life. I made some amazing friends and learned SO MUCH that I feel like a different person than I was when I joined Replay 10 months ago. Can’t believe it was only 10 months, feels like I spent years there. I want to take advantage of these summer days and enjoy them with my wife and kids. Familiy-wise the timing is kinda perfect. I also want to dust off some old GitHub projects and maybe start working on some new ones. I have some courses I started working on which I didn’t finish yet. Stay tuned. Today I also start my search for a new opportunity. My previous role as DevRel at Replay combined three things I loved the most - quality, development, and education. I’d really love to keep growing in these areas. I can see myself being valuable as DevRel/Dev Advocate, DX engineer, SDET or solutions architect. I like to take complex problems and explain them in simple ways. I have rich experience in test automation, creating educational content, docs, and frontend development in React and Vue. I’ll appreciate any help. You can reshare this post, give me an introduction, or say something nice in the comments for everyone else to see.

A B2B SaaS company disrupted half of the world's systems today. Here’s what it taught me about marriage and relationships: 🧵👇

To support the people of Ukraine and the humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross and the UN Central Emergency Response Fund, I’m releasing a new DOOM II level for a donation of €5. 100% of the proceeds go toward these agencies. Thank you. romero.com

I once read a tweet which explained tar commands in the form of two mnemonics: Need to untar? -xzf — "extract ze files" Need to tar? -czf — "compress ze files" And I think about it *every single time* I use tar. Wish I knew who to attribute this to, but it's really great.

Between the 3 Sept and 10 Sept, secure env vars of *all* public @travisci repositories were injected into PR builds. Signing keys, access creds, API tokens. Anyone could exfiltrate these and gain lateral movement into 1000s of orgs. #security 1/4 travis-ci.community/t/securi…

Getting iOS Safari to not scroll to focused inputs is tricky, but it's possible for the determined. All you have to do is: 1. Get MBA. 2. Become CEO of Zillow. 3. Run Zillow into the ground and transfer zillow.com domain name to your website.

Super exciting to see our philosophy of cropping text nodes in the browser is becoming part of the platform. Here's a great rundown of what's happening and why: medium.com/microsoft-design/…

I think you’ll find it’s: { } = curly bois [ ] = The Box™ < > = Pointy McGee ( ) = hugs 🤗
Terminology when talking about code and syntax: { } = Braces [ ] and < > = Brackets (square and angled) ( ) = Parentheses

Your static site (I.e. blog) doesn’t need React at run time.
