Dave Greenfield of the Stranglers sadly died on Sunday aged 71 . He had heart problems and Covid 19 . Tonight’s #punkrockmidnight is a simple tribute . The band speak here stranglers.co.uk and there’s an obituary here google.co.uk/amp/s/www.teleg… @StranglersSite

My disability shouldn’t be disparaged like this on national TV. I’m hurt, disappointed and furious. Smell loss has been paraded like it’s a fad diet on @Channel4’s #HowToLoseWeightWell. Here’s my rebuttal:

‘I’m never going to be able to smell my baby, I’m never going to be able to smell my child’. A tough watch for many of us affected by #anosmia but it’s really positive that smell loss is being highlighted in @Mystify_MH #Mystify #MichaelHutchence #braininjury @Rachel_Herz

Fantastic ! An Angry bitter Jock! Thx pal . You’ve rounded the night off perfectly. Your task tonight is to think deeply about YOUR national team . I then want you to take a long hard look at your life. I think the theme on both counts will be ‘coming up well short’. See ya 👋 xitter.cf/honeytoaster/status/10…

Today is the 2nd anniversary of the untimely death of Caroline Aherne, at the age of just 52. A truly great comedy talent, as demonstrated here in one of my all time favourite Roy and Renee sketches
