Tomorrow 40 years ago, Martyn Lloyd-Jones was dying and could not speak. He wrote on a bit of paper: “Don’t pray for healing. Don’t hold me back from the glory.” Three days later he was there.

New Blog Post!
For six decades, one of the most consequential addresses in the history of British evangelicalism has been known almost entirely through the printed page. Recently, the MLJ Trust recovered the audio recording of "Evangelical Unity: An Appeal," the address Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones gave to the Second National Assembly of Evangelicals in 1966.
"The questions Dr. Lloyd-Jones raised have not gone away," said Greg Jones, president of the MLJ Trust. "Indeed, there is a strong case to be made that his message may be even more relevant today than it was when he first delivered it."
In this article originally published by Evangelical Times, learn more about this historic address and where and when you can listen to it for the first time in 60 years:

Congrats to my friend Ray Rhodes @NITW1 for his excellent new contribution to the world of Spurgeon biographies! I was honored to write the Foreword for it and gladly commend it.
A man standing in a Christian pulpit has no business to say, ‘I suggest to you’ (…) No! ‘These things declare we unto you’.

Today one year ago. We miss him.

"I've spent the last three years trying every means to track down a copy of this particular message," said Robert Stone, an MLJ Trust volunteer in the UK. This message was Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones' final sermon at Sandfields, preached in 1977 in commemoration of 50 years since his call there. He preached from the same verse in 1926 when he began his ministry: 1 Corinthians 2:2 - "For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified."

The whole world is going to be judged, and going to be destroyed. We are all born in the world and of it. And unless we can be separated from that world, we will share its fate.

John MacArthur was an American Evangelical with an enormous influence in Europe. What happens with that impact after his death? That is in this podcast with Paul Mitchell. @johnmacarthur @gracetoyou

Dear friends,
On behalf of a bookseller in the Netherlands, I am offering for sale a complete set of Spurgeon's Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit. You may submit your bid via email to [email protected].
It has now been more than six years since a new book by Lloyd-Jones was published (Saved by Grace Alone @banneroftruth). I don’t think there has ever been such a long gap before! Isn’t it time for a new volume to appear? There are plenty of unpublished Sunday evening sermons!
Noteworthy: Charlie Kirk’s memorial service started with a recording of congregational singing form John MacArthur’s Grace Community Church, Sun Valley CA
