Higuruma debut was actually insane. The way Gege introduced a man who lost faith in justice, only to turn that broken sense of morality into one of the most fascinating cursed techniques in the series. His character writing is genuinely something else

I agree that Netflix played a huge part in the decline of Kdramas and the inflation of actors’ fees, but recycled tropes, mismatched casting, poor storylines, and numerous webtoon adaptations with lacklustre screenplays also contributed significantly.
