It meant so much to me that I have kept it ever since. She left our school after that one year. I always wondered how she had turned out. At the time I thought that notes like that probably came every year but as the years went on, I realized that wasn’t necessarily true.
Fast forward to tonight. @Robot_Colleen and I go to a high school graduation because we both taught many of the kids graduating in multiple grade levels. Mom and Dad are with our kids so we decide to swing by the bar on the way home. As we are checking out, our original server
I was able to go to @GYTOLeadOn Las Vegas this past weekend. I got so many amazing ideas and it reminded me that I had gotten the idea for transforming my office into a Zen Zone last year from @AllysonApsey This has been used by staff as a space to pause, breathe, sit in peace.
People have bought me things to place in there to zen up the place. It’s been used for therapy sessions, difficult parent meetings, and just to relax. It’s something I am really proud of providing and it’s thanks to my #getyourleadon experience! #GetYourTeachOn

Great teachers make it look easy… but they actually work really hard at it.
Greatness never comes without commitment and sacrifice.

I don’t mind working on the weekend if it means being ready for the week. @cafaro1972 and I are ready for the last week of summer school, another week to love and motivate our students, and our theme: The Locker Room! #summerschool #relentless
Just finished attending @azedschools Leading Change Conference. Learned a ton from @mrronclark_ @brewerhm @HappyStrobel @drmarciatate and others. I left incredibly motivated and inspired. Can’t wait to start summer school on Monday!!! #educationmatters
Truth! We got to stay positive. Most of us got into education knowing it would be difficult. This was probably my most difficult year. It’s no coincidence that it’s already been incredibly rewarding!

First day of Spring Break and our @ImagineEastMesa boys 🏀 team is getting after it. We know our opponents aren't taking a vacay. 16 days until our @azcaa_athletics first game of the season. #youthsports #middleschool
It's been a long quarter. The kids even told me they were feeling it today. So it was fun to end the week of @ImagineEastMesa boys basketball with the half court drill. Happy Spring Break Eve! (We'll still be practicing!) #roadrunnerbball #youthsports #basketball
