50-POINT $NQ / $MNQ SHORT TO END THE NIGHT! 🟒πŸ”₯ Nice way to finish the session for the community with one of our typical REVERSAL SETUPS! 🎯 Trendline break 🎯 Golden Zone (GZ) rejection 🎯 EMAs starting to flip bearish One of the toughest parts of trading is being in a position, wanting to let your runners run, and then seeing the exact same setup forming in the opposite direction. πŸ˜‚ But that's trading! You have to manage the position you're in while staying objective about what price action is telling you. Could've caught a 40+ point move in EITHER direction off a simple trendline break tonight. Love seeing the TA play out!

NY MORNINGS HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLE FOR TRENDLINE + FLAG BREAKS! πŸ”₯πŸ“ˆ The last 2 weeks on $NQ / $MNQ have been giving us some BEAUTIFUL setups. 4 clean entries here, and the WORST one still went 100 POINTS! 🎯 I'm going to keep posting these examples for you guys to study. Hopefully you've started recognizing these patterns and taking advantage of them! Same setups. Same process. Over and over.
FLAG BREAKS + LEDGES CAN BE SO SIMPLE SOMETIMES! πŸ“ˆπŸ”₯ Look at this PA on $NQ / $MNQ. Price is just creeping higher, forming flag after flag, giving us 4 CLEAN ENTRIES! What I LOVE about these setups is when the 8 EMA is right there supporting price as the flag or ledge breaks. That's an extra confirmation I always look for. 🎯 3 of the 4 entries saw 30+ points before returning to breakeven. 🎯 Entries #2 and #3 both saw 50+ POINTS! 🎯 Every setup required 12 points of risk or less. This is why I constantly preach watching the 8 EMA! When price is trending, the EMA catches up, a flag or ledge forms, and the break gives you an opportunity with tight risk and room to run. Same setups. Over and over. Study these patterns and learn to recognize them!

STRUGGLING WITH TILT AND EMOTIONS? STRUCTURE IS KEY. 🧠🎯 Everyone is different, but I genuinely believe one of the best ways to overcome emotional trading is to develop a robotic process that you can follow every single day. The goal is to stop being so attached to the outcome of each individual trade and start focusing on whether you followed your process. Here's how I look at it: 🎯 Setup checks all your boxes? Take the trade and accept the risk. 🎯 Got nervous and missed the entry? Track the setup and its outcome for your backtesting. Wait for the next opportunity. 🎯 Trade doesn't work out? Accept the loss. You followed your rules, and losses are part of the system. 🎯 Risk management? Have strict guidelines for how much you're willing to lose on each trade so one bad decision doesn't put you in a massive hole. The goal is to build a repeatable process that gives you an edge over the long term. Revenge trades and random setups don't just hurt your account β€” they skew your data. How can you accurately evaluate your strategy if you're constantly taking trades that aren't part of it? If you wouldn't normally take that trade under your rules, DON'T TAKE IT just because you're frustrated or trying to make money back. You can't control the outcome of every trade, but you CAN control your execution, risk, and discipline.

TRENDLINE BREAKS DOMINATED THE DAY AGAIN! πŸ“ˆπŸ”₯ Missed some GREAT price action today on $NQ / $MNQ, but wanted to post these setups for you guys to study! Just like last week's post, the same trendline break setups played out over and over. Every single one was straightforward: 🎯 Clean trendline break 🎯 8 EMA right there as the trendline was breaking 🎯 No more than 20 points of risk 🎯 Every setup went 100–200 POINTS! This is why I keep posting these examples! You don't need to catch every move. You need to learn to recognize the same high-quality setups when they present themselves.

$MNQ / $NQ LONG β€” 80+ POINT MOVE! 🟒πŸ”₯ Didn't do the best job trimming this one, but still a solid trade! Not my typical setup, but we opened extremely bullish, so I waited to see how price reacted to the 5-minute 8 EMA. Once we bounced 5m 8 & reclaimed the 1-minute EMAs, I took the long targeting VWAP, with a potential move to the highs if VWAP broke. My mistake: Took off half my contracts at VWAP instead of letting more of the position run. Sometimes I get a little too excited πŸ˜‚ Always room to improve my trade management. Either way, $580 in about 15 minutes of work! Can't complain!

GREAT WEEK LAST WEEK TRADING $NQ / $MNQ! 🟒 Wasn't always easy, but we did what we needed to do β€” kept losses small and capitalized on the big winners. I don't need an 80–90% win rate to hit my goals. I'm much more focused on cutting losses quickly and letting my winners play out. With my style of trading, if I can maintain a 60%+ win rate while managing risk properly, I'm usually going to finish the week in pretty good shape. That's why I preach risk management so much. It's not about winning every trade. It's about making your winners count and not letting your losers erase your progress. Hopefully we get another clean week, but regardless of what the market gives us, the focus stays the same.

IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH ACCEPTING LOSSES, YOU NEED A DAILY STOP LOSS. 🧠🎯 Anyone can make money trading on any given day. But being able to consistently protect those profits is what separates traders who last from those who don't. This is something I know a lot of you struggle with, and it absolutely applies to me too. I've been very open about some of my tilt days in the past. I've lost a lot of money trading out of frustration, and those experiences have taught me lessons I'll never forget. Because of that, I will NEVER trade on my brokerage or a funded account again without a LOCKED daily stop loss that I cannot change while trading. I don't tilt very often anymore, but I'm not willing to risk having ONE bad day mentally wipe out two months of hard-earned profits. Here's something people don't talk about enough: A daily stop loss doesn't just protect your money. It teaches you discipline. When I first implemented mine, there were days I would get frustrated, force trades, and hit my daily limit almost immediately. Then I'd sit there watching the market, realizing that if I had just controlled my emotions, I would've been perfectly fine. But over time, something changed. I started recognizing those emotions BEFORE acting on them because I knew exactly what would happen if I didn't. You eventually realize that getting frustrated isn't worth being locked out for the rest of the day. And slowly, those tilt days become less and less frequent. SO HOW DO YOU DETERMINE YOUR DAILY STOP LOSS? My general recommendation is to start by looking at your average winning day and consider setting your daily loss limit at or below that amount, provided it makes sense for your position sizing and strategy. I see way too many traders consistently making $200–$300 on their winning days but allowing themselves to lose $800 on a bad day. Think about that. You could have THREE solid winning days wiped out by ONE emotional session. Here's what I personally use: Daily stop loss: $650 Average position size: 9 MNQ contracts Approximate risk allowance: 36 MNQ points at full size Typical winning day: $600–$1,500 Is my daily stop tight? Absolutely. And that's intentional. It FORCES me to be extremely selective with my entries. I can't afford to take random trades, chase moves, or keep making exceptions to my strategy. Yes, there are days when I hit my limit and probably could've recovered if I kept trading. But that's a trade-off I'm more than willing to accept. Because I know I'm never going to put myself in some massive hole that takes weeks of good trading to recover from. Everyone's numbers will be different. Your daily limit needs to account for your actual performance, trade size, normal drawdowns, and risk tolerance. But if your average winning day is $300 and you're regularly allowing yourself to lose $900, something needs to change. The goal isn't to make as much money as possible every single day. It's to protect yourself from the ONE day where your emotions get the best of you. Sometimes the best risk management decision you can make is taking away your own ability to keep trading.

$MNQ / $NQ LONG β€” +115 POINTS TO END THE LIVE AND THE WEEK! 🟒πŸ”₯ What a way to close things out for the community! Setup: Swept the lows and started showing bullish momentum at Tokyo open. Missed the initial move higher, but instead of chasing, I waited for a pullback and took my shot when price held the Golden Zone (GZ). Only risked 17 points with a clear plan: 🎯 Flag break β†’ potential 60-point move 🎯 Break of the next higher high β†’ target 29,200 for 100+ points Everything lined up, and we walked away with 115 POINTS! This is why I preach patience. Missing the initial move doesn't mean you've missed the opportunity. One clean setup. Defined risk. Clear targets. We're doing this LIVE every night! Great way to end the week for the community!

STUDY THESE SETUPS! πŸ“ˆπŸ”₯ Posted all these trendline break examples for you guys yesterday on $NQ / $MNQ. SAME EXACT THING TODAY! These setups repeat themselves over and over. Trendline breaks, EMA confirmation, and clean targets. The goal isn't to memorize one chart. It's to recognize the same patterns when they present themselves again.
SOME TECHNICAL ANALYSIS FOR YOU GUYS! πŸ“ˆπŸ”₯ Wasn't around for NY today, so I missed these moves, but DON'T sleep on the trendline breaks we constantly talk about! As volatile as NY was today, every one of these setups only required 11–20 points of risk, and TWO of them went well over 100 POINTS! 🎯 The key: When you get a trendline break with the 1-minute 8 EMA nearby, there's often a good chance of follow-through. And even if the move doesn't materialize, the EMA gives you a reference point to help keep your stop tight. You don't need to predict a 100-point move. You just need a clean setup with manageable risk and room to run. Shoutout to @Stormzy_MTT for catching that first flag break on live! πŸ”₯

The hardest part of trading for me has never been the strategy. It's been mastering my mental game. 🧠 I lost a lot of money when I first started trading because of frustration, and those lessons still stick with me every single day. You'll NEVER hear me say trading is easy, because it isn't. You can have the perfect strategy, but if you can't control yourself, none of it matters. Even now, I constantly fight the urge to chase a move I missed or tell myself, "I'll make an exception just this one time." And here's the dangerous part: Sometimes it actually works. But that one exception turns into another, and another, until eventually you get burned. One of the biggest lessons I've learned over the years is that NO MATTER HOW BIG OF A MOVE YOU MISS, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. Another setup. Another entry. Another day. When I miss a trade or get frustrated because I hesitated on an entry, I have to consciously remind myself to stay calm and wait for the next clean setup. That's why tracking your emotions is just as important as tracking your trades. You need to recognize your triggers and develop ways to keep yourself in check. Missing a trade costs you nothing. Letting frustration dictate your next decision can cost you everything. Don't compound one mistake with five more. Protect your capital. Protect your mental game.

Some sessions are about making money. Others are about protecting your capital. πŸ“Š Spent hours watching MNQ trapped in a range with no clean break and no setups worth taking. No forced entries. No chasing. No unnecessary risk. 0 trades taken. 0 reason to force anything. Break-even is a position. Protect your capital and come back tomorrow ready to execute. Trade the process. Not the impulse.

$MNQ / $NQ SHORT β€” 150+ POINTS! 🟒πŸ”₯ Pretty volatile PA today, so I won't call this my cleanest entry. Got in a little early to keep my stop under 20 points. Setup: - Lower highs forming - EMAs starting to curl down - Ledge developing at support After the second lower high, I took the short expecting at least a 20+ point move back to ledge support. The real opportunity was if that ledge broke, because there was no major support until VWAP. 🎯 Got a little lucky with news accelerating the move, but I'm not complaining! πŸ˜‚ 150+ points on a setup risking less than 20. Great win for the community!
