Looking into the climate of New York State.
As part of Climate Week, @GovKathyHochul is announcing the launch of the State University of New York at Albany's Mesonet Climatology Portal with an investment of $2 million for its operations. This will help expand access to data for meteorologists and emergency managers, as well as allow the public to look at New York's changing climate.

A defining figure in @UAlbanyMBB history, Peter Hooley produced one of the most iconic moments in college basketball history during his legendary career with the Great Danes.
A three-time America East Champion, Hooley etched his name in program lore with his buzzer-beating three-pointer to capture the 2015 conference title, capping an extraordinary run of three straight NCAA Tournament appearances.
A two-time America East Tournament Most Outstanding Player and Team Captain, he ranks among the program's all-time elite, graduating with over 1,500 career points while earning multiple Academic All-America honors.
The enshrinement ceremony for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will take place on Friday, Oct. 2, at Broadview Center on campus.
