the industry needs standards.
introducing nkips: No-Kyc Improvement Proposals. open, CC0 standards designed so users of no-kyc swaps, tools, and tipping rails can cryptographically verify what they were promised -- without blind trust, without leaking privacy. nkips.org three drafts live: - 0001 deposit receipts: swaps sign your order parameters before displaying the deposit address. eliminates "your word against theirs" when trades fail. - 0002 Monero tips on Nostr: provable tips without ever making the txid public. - 0003 Sign-in With Monero: authenticate sessions via local wallet signatures, zero funds moved. all in draft status. read the specs, find the edge cases, open issues, or start implementing: github.com/nkips/nkips read the drafts and poke holes. #Monero #NKIP #Nostr

Spent a year shipping payment gateways, Monero tools, and swap aggregators. Today I tied them all together behind one front counter: pwa.cash A lightweight, non-custodial POS for real counters and shops. No logins to leak, no funds to freeze View article

Your wallet talks to a node. If it's someone else's, that node can see your IP address and when you broadcast transactions. Run your own node if you can. If you can't, use @mnr_network that verifies responses and connect over Tor, so even us never learns where you are. #Monero

making a shitcoin and call it XMR doesn’t make it Monero. open your eyes.

we do what we can to make the economy more complete and more robust. monero:native
maybe someone is buying 600k instead.

a mnr token is not an account. no email, no name, no signup. the free one is issued by the page itself; a pro one is issued when an invoice is paid in monero. mnr.network/get-token

free: 500,000 work units a month. pro: 10,000,000, paid in xmr on an invoice. a wallet left open all month spends about 10k. free is meant to be enough, and it is not a trial.

tokens are stored as hashes only, so we cannot hand yours to anyone. rotate it and the old one keeps working for 24 hours, so nothing breaks while you swap it over. mnr.network/docs/tokens-and-…

every response from rpc.mnr.network carries an Mnr-Verify header. we promise no uptime. the promise is narrower: we tell you exactly what was verified before your wallet saw it. mnr.network/docs/method-poli…

what gets verified: - block headers: hash recomputed from blob, matched to header chain - /get_transactions: blobs hashed and matched to txids - tip height & info: at least 2 of the 3 upstreams asked must agree if quorum fails, the relay is degraded and states it in the header.

blocks, headers and transactions are cached only once they are 10 blocks below the tip, and a reorg makes every cached entry unreachable at once. the method policy is generated directly from relay source code: mnr.network/docs/method-poli…
