AI servers using Nvidia GPUs are the majority. 60% of all AI servers shipped in 2025 relied heavily on GPUs. But that is changing. Nvidia based servers will fall to almost 40% in 2027. The majority of AI servers will be running on ASICs! Check out the report. #AI #ASIC #servers

Is this for real? But people are saying these robots aren't fully running on their own and supervised by humans (remotely?).
You can now book two humanoids for our cleaning service in SF. One humanoid for 60 minutes is $30, two are $60. You can book a cleaning at tau-robotics.com. If you don’t have an invite code yet, join the waitlist. Timelapse at 5× speed (~40 minutes in real time).

Incredible! China's YMTC rose to 3rd place in NAND bit shipments, surpassing Micron and Kioxia. Of course these firms have larger revenue but it YMTC has the potential to become No. 3 in revenue one day. YMTC's strategy is clear: target value seekers. counterpointresearch.com/en/…

Update! Looks like the late delivery problem was a distribution problem not a supply chain issue. Lots of inventory at Bestbuy! It's just Samsung direct that was out of inventory. I guess Samsung prefers national retail.
Kudos to @BestBuy for having solid inventory for the new Z Fold8. I cancelled my order from @SamsungMobile as my estimated delivery was on Oct 2. Now I'm getting it tomorrow after putting the order in yesterday! Looks like Samsung's DTC channel got slammed with orders!

Samsung Z Fold 8 pre-orders seem to be super strong but a 2 month wait sounds ridiculous. Is there a procurement issue? I'll dig into this. Below is a real case from my colleague in USA. #samsunggalaxyzfold8 #Samsung
Replying to @SamsungMobileUS
@SamsungMobileUS announced record preorders yesterday. Here's the proof. I just ordered the Z Fold 8 myself and won't get to see it until Oct 2 😭. By that time I might just buy the new iPhone Fold instead.

Micron smashes DRAM revenues! It is now only 1% point behind SK Hynix, with 25% market share. Micron may surpass SK Hynix to become No.2 next quarter. China's CXMT also snagged 7% share in Q2 2026. #DRAM $MU $SKHY #CXMT counterpointresearch.com/en/…

Looks like China is also getting protective on their AI frontier models. What Counterpoint predicted a week ago is happening. China is not the alternative for the US. You can expect both countries to use similar tactics. More reason for sovereign AI. business-standard.com/techno…
Will enterprises ditch #OpenAI and #Anthropic for Chinese models? The argument is from fear of the US govt cutting off core models like #fable. But then again can that not happen to Chinese models if they become cutting edge and the China gets protective? With the US-China tech wars ongoing, you have to have some leverage. That is why #SovereignAI will become important.

Memory market is on fire and everyone wants to get involved now. TSMC might partner with Winbond! Niche memory players like Nanya, Winbond stock have been on fire since the beginning of 2026. #TSMC #Winbond #Nanya
The memory shortage presents a huge opportunity for smaller memory companies outside the big 3. There are rumors about #CXMT being removed from the Entity List. Taiwan memory suppliers like #Nanya and #Winbond also have seen a huge surge in revenue and their stock is on fire. Winbond and Nanya are growing by filling the supply gaps created by AI demand. #TSMC may bring Winbond on board as a Wafer-on-Wafer (WoW) technology partner. TSMC is also looking for ways to alleviate memory shortages, and Winbond can be a good partner to form a win-win relationship. If memory is added to TSMC's #Foundry and #OSAT value chain the Taiwan semi ecosystem will become more robust. money.udn.com/money/story/56…

SK Hynix may lose a lot of share this year to Samsung in HBM. I believe it will still be No. 1 but not as dominant as last year. Samsung Q2 numbers will be really interesting in my view. #HBM #SKhyix #Samsung
The HBM race is entering its most competitive phase, @SKhynix the leader in HBM with 56% share announces its 12 layer HBM 4E. But this is 3 weeks later than Samsung. Can SK Hynix maintain its lead this year? How significant is a 3 week lead? counterpointresearch.com/en/… $NVDA $TSM $AVGO $MSFT $MRVL $GOOG

Sovereign AI is now a real thing. The US can always kill access to its models, like it has restricted Anthropic's Fable and Mythos. It also introduces ID checking and nationality checking. You can't rely on the US or China solely anymore :( cybernews.com/ai-news/anthro…

AI and robots are mostly driving costs dirt cheap and boosting productivity 5-10x compared to humans but not all of the human workforce is going to be replaced because of this multiplier factor of automation and 24-7 work mode.

Airpods with cameras? Sounds wild but it could be more of a sensory thing than one for recording. If Apple does it I'd trust it would treat my data well. :) $Apple @Apple #airpods
The next Apple AirPods will come with a camera! If it really happens, it will be a major enhancement for Physical AI. Our Principal Analyst @anshikajain41 talks about the concerns about privacy.

I saw news about NAND prices falling almost 40% MoM. These are spot prices. Actually just noise as they fluctuate regardless of real supply and demand. Contract prices actually are rising during this period. Check these monthly contract price trackers! etnews.com/20260508000162

Memory market booming! The top 3 makers made more money than the UK FTSE 100 and almost as much as the Nikkei 225 in Q1 2026.
Perspective: The Memory & AI Super Cycle has allowed the key suppliers to rake in profits bigger than many companies and even combined profits of listed companies in a market. As we can see now "Big Three" memory vendor Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron are operating at a sovereign scale. Their combined Q1 operating profit for Q1 2026 reached $80.8 Billion. To put that in perspective, in just 90 days, these three companies out-earned the entire corporate sectors of major global indices: ✨Memory Big 3: $80.8B 🇯🇵 Japan (Nikkei 225): $88.0B 🇬🇧UK (FTSE 100): $66.5B 🇮🇳 India (BSE/NSE): $42.0B Driven by the transition to Agentic AI, HBM has become the high-margin utility of the global infrastructure build-out. When three vendors produce nearly double the profit of 5,000+ listed companies in a market like India, the power balance of the global tech stack has fundamentally shifted. #Semiconductors #HBM #AI #SupplyChain #EarningsSeason $MU @CounterPointTR
