Coding Agent

AI orchestrator review: Paseo
paseo.sh/
TBH I've never heard of this app until my harness research had suggested it.
At first glance, it seemed very similar to t3.code. Similar layout, similar features, runs 3rd party harnesses. The website puts accent on mobile apps and remote control, which is for me a nice to have, but not the killer feature. Also supports CLI workers + remote control, which looks enticing, but I haven't tried it yet.
But then, I realized it has one amazing concept that I haven't seen anywhere before, and that might just be good enough to rethink my workflow.
Instead of the usual project -> chat structure, it has a 3 layer structure: project -> workspace -> chat.
Workspace can include multiple chats, but can also include terminals and browser windows. And you can set them up in an arbitrary layout.
The most interesting part: paseo can inject MCP into the agent context, which allows it to control the terminals and browser windows within the workspace.
I can totally see what they're aiming at here. You start a new workspace, and the orchestrator + agent automatically setup a worktree, install your stuff into it, and then boot up dev servers and open browsers in attached terminals. You can tell agents to restart your dev servers or interact with your browsers. When you toggle between workspaces, you toggle between entire entire instances of your work - chats, shells and browsers together.
This solves an actual problem, in that it's difficult to toggle between things you're working at among a heap of different browsers, IDE-s, and chats. I vaguely remember people talking about this pain, but I don't remember seeing an actual solution. This feels like one.
I'm still exploring here, but as I said, this is the first orchestrator idea good enough to make me consider adapting to it.
Downsides? The usual slopbase ills. Eg. voice recording just silently failed for me, no idea why. Plus, it doesn't know how to deal with my symlink-based setup, but none of these apps do, so whatever🤷.
So why isn't this app better known around these parts? Marketing, I think.
The author ( @moboudra ), doesn't have the same twitter presence and clout as theo and dax. On pure merit, paseo *seems* to be on the same level as opencode and t3.code, and maybe even better. Certainly more innovative.

Try paseo! I’ve been using it and it’s been great. Great mobile app and you can easily set it up with a VM.

paseo.sh is the best one I've tried so far
use the new kimi code in paseo
Kimi Code, our open-source coding agent, just got a major upgrade!
🔹One-line CLI install, zero setup, fast startup
🔹Drag in videos as coding context: reference-to-LUT, long-video-to-short, screen-recording-to-code, and more
🔹Plugins for stocks, financial reports, academic papers, with more coming
🔹Supports the ACP protocol, and works with JetBrains, Zed, and more
🔹Hooks for custom tools and workflows
Try it with Kimi K2.6 👉 kimi.com/code
Issues, plugin ideas, and PRs welcome! Community feedback helps shape what ships next.🚀

Paseo.sh is a really good interface for Pi.
It’s not the only thing it does, but that’s my current use case for now.
I do things one at a time. I’m not yet at the point where I’d run multiple agents at the same time.

You can use paseo.sh for this. Can even interchange between Codex, Claude Code, Opencode, Pi.
Stable mobile and desktop apps connected through a secure relay from your VMs.
Easy to set up too.
I laugh when I see people in holding their laptops half open so their Claude Code doesn't shut off
All my projects run on a @Hetzner_Online VPS with Claude Code installed next to the sites/apps that I work on and I just SSH in with @TermiusHQ and it keeps going forever even if I disconnect (I use Mosh or Tmux or I just /resume)
My MacBook Pro battery life is also much better as everything happens on the server not my laptop
I work so incredibly fast now, it's like having a secret benefit over everyone else who are still AI coding on a laptop, then deploying to their server, while their battery life dies and they can never close their laptop
And whenever I want I can just switch to Termius on my iPhone and continue working!
My workflow is literally: I have a bug or feature, I open Termius, I type it in the project tab, it fixes it, every fix it auto commits to GitHub but it doesn't actually deploy from there anymore because it's editing the site on the server live
I don't recommend that to everyone, but I do recommend getting a VPS you can code from and then use as staging and test and deploy from there to your production server

@paseo_sh is without a doubt the most slept on orchestrator right now.
I've tried everything and there's always something they're missing.
@moboudra is the first person to just nail it. Open source, every OS, and a mobile experience that truly blew me away. There is seriously nothing else like it right now.
I give it a month or two before it blows up.
