1. The U.S. cattle herd has hit a 75yr historical low. As physical assets shrink, corporate monopolies are moving to lock down what remains, using centralized data systems to turn our independent food supply into a corporate utility. This is a factual, structural reality.🧵
Raining over the Texas Panhandle today. Water falling on dry dirt is liquid life.
For too long, American agriculture has traded its soul for corporate scale—letting high-starch feedlots push beef lipid profiles into inflammatory territory while independent ranchers carry all the risk and none of the margin.
The industrial food complex wants you dependent, gridded, and tracked. We are choosing a different path.
Working alongside biological pioneer Bernie Hansen and Better Fed Foods, we’ve unlocked the "Mediterranean Cow"—using natural microalgae and flax nutrition to bring Omega ratios below 3:1 naturally at the source.
No corporate overhaul. Just true input control for the independent stockman.
In 2027, the road calls again. We launch the Great American Health Initiative: heavy truck, cowboy sleeper, and livestock trailer.
Hitting independent ranches across America to capture "Old Dog Wisdom," check herds, and give the real stewards of the land a voice.
Digital tools are just the signal.
Real men deliver the message.
Through "Modern the Man," we are handing physical packets to local communities and rising leaders.
And in a world of automated gates and faceless corporate bots, we still pick up the phone. Peer-to-peer. Value-for-value.

The below theory has been my suspicions since early days of Covid but impossible to prove. However this CBS Sunday show on April 5th, 2020 blew my mind. A Fed governor talking about surveillance technology and immunity badges? That’s the moment I knew something was afoot. The amount of money printing was historic.

The auctioneer asked for a million dollars on a nine-month-old bull in Billings on Saturday. Nobody went there. The hammer fell at $900,000.
🇺🇸 BeefMaps.com
Doug Stevenson raised him at Basin Angus in Reed Point, Montana. Just over nine months old, he cannot yet produce semen for AI. Ten buyers grouped up to buy an interest, Stevenson keeps 50 percent, and the bull moves to an AI facility once he matures.
Roger Jacobs called it at the Billings Livestock Commission. "One million," he said. "I've never asked that before."
Nobody pays that for beef. Two yearling bull averages in the Western Livestock Journal this month came in at $8,416 and $12,318, so this 9-month-old equals 75 to 107 of those bulls.
The same week, USDA auction data had 500 to 600 pound steers at about $439 per hundredweight, call it $2,400 to $2,600 a head. That buys about 350 of those calves. The man raising them takes the bid on the calf, not a share of what the genetics do later.
The record is still SAV America 8018 at $1.51 million, Schaff Angus Valley, St. Anthony, North Dakota, February 2019.
There are 28.5 million beef cows in the country as of July 1, down 1 percent from a year earlier.

If you all know my story, this right here is what keeps me going day in and day out! I know every time I saddle up , I am riding with good Lord because he will guide me through this beautiful trail of life!🙌🏻
I pray that god grants me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference!🤠🙏🏻

Also, why does a Cowboy tip his hat with his left hand?
Anyone?🤝🕶

I like the way Manco does everything with his left hand—from lighting a cigarette and dealing cards to taking a drink. His right hand, kept hidden beneath his poncho, remains in a state of total relaxation—concealing a gun, and serving as a death sentence for anyone daring enough to challenge him.

🎙️ The Quiet Land Grab of America's Farms
Ep. 169 with @ToddWeyl
Todd Weyl is a cattle rancher, direct-to-consumer beef producer and the owner of Weyl Farms Direct, a 240-acre family farm his parents bought in 1965. Taught in agricultural college that beef would follow poultry and pork into the feedlot model, Todd finally began questioning the commodity system. Since 2020 he has sold directly to families, and he is an active voice in @modernTman's Beef Initiative, building a decentralized food network one ranch at a time. In this special episode, we dig into the quiet consolidation of farmland, the industrialization of agriculture since 1971, degradation of public health, why is fast food the human version of a feedlot, lab meat, and how he finances his farm with @hodlwithLedn Bitcoin-backed loans for cashflow and infinite banking philosophy.

For more than 30 years, cattle have left Express Ranches and gone to make a difference in herds across the country.
But ask the people at Express what they’ll remember most, and it won’t just be pedigrees, sale averages or banners. It’s the cattlemen they’ve met, the friendships built and the customers who have returned year after year.
On Monday, October 19, that same commitment to phenotype, performance and predictability comes to the sale ring for the Fall Bull & Commercial Female Sale.
