watched dabide no hoshi. possibly one of the best live-action manga adaptations ever?? masaaki sato's original manga was infamous for its violence and imagery, yet he's still so little known in the west, despite his importance in the kashihon-to-magazine era
trying to pitch hbo my sitcom idea about the adventures of pornelius hubert and his cousins, xavier hampstead and javqueline scatterman
i remember playing max payne on the family computer and getting stuck on the crying baby maze. my dad told me to stop playing because it was making him lactate
im never good at sticking to seasonal trends. everyone's working through the scary stuff in their backlog for october, while ive been watching nothing but romance and comedy T_T
its great that this is getting wider attention, but tying it to piracy is misleading! iguchi's films often fly under the radar because interest in independent cinema is limited, and his work is frequently panned. sadly some people are more of a celebrity overseas!
so please, mina-san!! if you really want to see this movie, reach out to the company that owns the rights: tfc.co.jp/
email them, tag them, let them know there's interest and demand!! please!! 🙏
