What is happening in Syria now? It also held more than 150 dialogue sessions with the sheikhs of the Alawite sect. They were then invited to the National Dialogue Conference. All of this, brothers, and the state only asked the sheikhs of the Alawite sect to hand over some extremely dangerous criminals. However, the sheikhs of the Alawite sect did not respond, neither by handing over a single criminal nor by helping the state to restore security and safety. But All the dignitaries confirmed that Syria is united and that Alawites will live with the rest of the sects and religions in love and harmony. Basel Khateeb, a prominent figure of the sect, pledged a week ago in a session with the police station to help the state in achieving civil peace and societal security, and there is a signed document from him regarding peace. What happened, dear brothers, an hour ago was the foolish rebellion: Thousands of civilians from the sect protested for trivial reasons, and we were unaware of the danger of what they were doing in full agreement — protesters and agents behind them alike. Then they attacked the governorate center with gunfire. Then Basel Khateeb wrote a post calling for dignity. Then the sheikhs of the Alawite sect issued a statement for general mobilization of the entire sect. Then the sheikhs of the Alawite sect cut off all communication with us. The rebellion began with hundreds of elements emerging from houses, not from the mountains. (The story of the mountains is a distraction for the security forces.) The rebel elements killed all the security brothers on the coast, police officers at stations, guards of hospitals and banks, and all the soldiers on the roads along the coast. Today, a distress call came from Baniyas: The brothers immediately sent a security car to the specified location. The brothers were killed in an ambush by the remnants. Most of the martyrs fell due to ambushes set in places that security forces must enter to protect the area. Yesterday, a civilian from the Alawite sect went up to a building opposite Latakia Hospital: He fired at the hospital, killing 3 brothers from the army. When he fled, he walked in civilian clothes past the brothers, holding a reconciliation paper, just like the rest, and they could not arrest him. Today, several killings in Tartus: Upon reaching the shooting location, everyone was in civilian clothes. So far, no element of the remnants has been killed in military uniform. Their plan is to fight as civilians on their own land.
