Congrats to our May Top Tomato Employee of the Month, Ibby Monar! Ibby is the PowerUpCafe Manager at @AdamElementary and works hard for her staff and students everyday. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for helping sponsor our award!

We were honored to be recongnized for the Cream of the Crop Award alongside Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller at the Texas Department of Agriculture MegaCon! We also wanted to take this award around to recognize all the people who go into making us the Cream of the Crop! From the Warehouse, to the FPC, to the Schools it takes a village to do what we do for the 3rd largest district in the state of Texas! This recognition represents our commitment to serving Texas-grown foods, connecting students to agriculture, and creating meaningful experiences across our campuses!

Shout out to Adam Elementary and our PowerUpCafe Manager Ibby for working together to add “Making Your Own Pizza” as a reward in their PBIS Store! Students “bought” the prize with 500 SOAR Points and are introduced to kitchen safety, sanitation, My Plate Nutrition, following recipes, and then made their own pizza!
