For weeks, some racist Western media outlets published story after story against Professor Jason Arday, at times every few hours, branding him a plagiarist. They hounded him relentlessly, and the pressure became too much for him. He committed suicide in August, aged just 41.
This week, he was cleared of plagiarism yet again. A fresh investigation by the academic publisher Taylor & Francis found nothing to support the allegations. Of the four formal investigations into his work, not one substantiated the charge.
The same publications that hunted him are now silent. They have not corrected their reporting, and they have not had the decency to admit they were wrong.
This is how hard it is to be Black in a deeply racist world, and to succeed where they expect you to fail. Even those who present themselves as the moral conscience of the Western world have nothing to say.
In a shameful act, the Oxford Reform Society has invited Nathan Cofnas, the self-described "race realist" who first raised the plagiarism allegations against Professor Arday, to speak at Oriel College next month. Oriel College, the home of Cecil John Rhodes’ statue.
These institutions are racist. Sadly, Black leaders have failed to build rival institutions that give Black people respect and intellectual dignity.
We are forced to endure disrespect because our leadership has failed us completely. Black billionaires line up to hand money to these institutions in exchange for meaningless honorary titles, instead of building our own.
May Professor Arday's soul rest in peace. You were hounded to your death by publications that today do not even have the shame to admit they were wrong.

about ten days ago, 45 senior staff sent a letter to the Chancellor, reminding the University that a thorough review had been promised, and was nowhere in sight. The Afzal review was on one specific matter alone

Harm reduction is something Liberals say when they really mean harm re-distribution. The harm is never reduced, it’s just re-distributed to someone or someplace else. It’s why they told me I had to vote for someone committing genocide over there, to protect my rights over here.

The American prison system has been turned into a rentier system of profit extraction by major corporations and lobbyists. Legalized bribery in the U.S. has enabled business interests to extract tolls from virtually every activity prisoners engage in, such as charging fees for emails to family members, as well as permitting corporations like McDonald's to utilize prisoners for labor while providing them extremely low wages and no benefits. Our government's treatment of these prisoners is a window into the way the American elite sees the rest of us, and the true nature of our profit-driven system.

the ideological output of influential think tanks is not shaped by the moral journeys of random operatives, it is shaped by the class and ideological interests of billionaire donors. The "operatives" scramble to see who can best suck up their dollars but theyre not that important

The claims being made in the video that fitness is fascist/capitalist-coded are obviously correct. If you think someone should be shamed for them then you are at minimum fash-curious.

The Haitian Revolution began on this day in 1791.
It became a tremendous symbol of hope for slaves throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United States — and one of tremulous fear for their masters.

One of the most evil things imaginable to me
🦔AI companies are bulk-buying rare books, scanning them through high-speed machines that cut the spines off, and shredding the originals. A service called ISBNdb facilitates orders of up to a million books and keeps buyers anonymous. Pre-2022 books are premium because they're free of AI-generated text. A federal judge ruled the practice is fair use because eliminating the original means only one copy exists at a time. Anthropic hired the former head of Google Books partnerships to obtain "all the books in the world."
My Take
This got to me. A bookseller told 404 Media that rare books with almost no surviving copies are being fed into this pipeline. Books that survived wars, fires, and centuries of handling are being shredded so an AI can learn to write a better marketing email.
ISBNdb's website literally says "'AI company destroys two million books' is not a headline that generates sympathy," and they still built an entire business around making it happen quietly. They offer NDAs as a feature. They coach clients to call it "digital preservation."
I've covered AI companies scraping the internet, torrenting libraries, and stealing music. This is worse because it's irreversible. You can re-upload a website. You can reprint a bestseller. You can't replace the last three copies of an 18th-century botanical text once someone shreds them for training data. And the judge said it's legal. So it's going to accelerate.
"We shred rare books and offer NDAs so nobody finds out" is a legitimate business model in 2026. What a timeline.

One of the reasons Australia punches above its weight in sports is that it prioritizes sports science. It's no surprise Aussie athletes have been consistently masking to prevent themselves getting sick before competitions.
Choice feminism is so popular because it demands absolutely nothing from you. It lets you believe that every single thing you do is inherently feminist just because you're a woman doing it. Sorry, but participating in your own oppression or upholding patriarchal standards doesn't become 'empowering' just because you made the choice to do it. A lot of our choices actively uphold misogyny and beauty standards that actively hurt other women. When you finally ask yourself 'who does this benefit?, the answer is almost always the patriarchy. Choice feminism didn't liberate women. It just put a feminist sticker on capitalism and misogyny. If your feminism never makes you uncomfortable, it's not feminism.

Katie Miller has a master's degree and a career. It appears that she has consistently worked since she was 20. She can open a bank account, own property, and have a credit card in her name. She has access to no-fault divorce and would be entitled to child support for her baby if she and Stephen Miller divorce. She has laws protecting her against physical abuse and rape by her spouse. She had access to birth control and abortion, meaning that having a baby was a choice.
She is very much not living the life that the "propaganda. . . convinced" women was oppressive. She is living the life that feminism made possible.
Of course, she knows this. She's just a liar.
