The UN is piloting here because ICP Is infrastructure for an entirely new kind of cloud.
Compute. Storage. Databases. Web hosting. AI. Identity. Apps. All can live directly on decentralized infrastructure, even infrastructure restricted to specific countries or jurisdictions for digital sovereignty.
So can the SOFTWARE living on top of it.. Apps, protocols, social networks, games and AI services can run without AWS, without a traditional backend, and potentially without a company sitting in the middle controlling everything.
