shinpei's tragic backstory. he was just a child back then 🤧
#ホタルの嫁入り #hotaru_anime
so astonishingly beautiful. shinpei caught fireflies for satoko 🤧 oh man i think i've seen this film before 🤧
#ホタルの嫁入り #hotaru_anime
one of shinpei's love languages is words of affirmation. i like how cheered and assured satoko that having scars is not something to be ashamesd of.
#ホタルの嫁入り #hotaru_anime
satoko whack shinpei with a lamp and even though he had a g**nshot wound, shinpei wants satoko to wipe his bleeding forehead first 😭

reading "the forgotten field" feels like there are thorns in my throat
#TheForgottenField 317 Spoilers ‼️‼️
Tiuran to Thalia in her letter:
“You always showed your thorns to others but deep down you longed to be loved more than anyone else.” 😢😢😢😢😢
Thalia’s thoughts before her suicide attempt:
“My mother never loved me. My nanny never truly cared about me either. Marisen hurt my child to protect her own. As for Tiuran, all she ever did was deceive and use me from beginning to end. And Varkas too… he never loved me. All the affection he once showed me was nothing more than guilt.”
I’M LITERALLY GOING TO KILL MYSELF 😭😭 ALL SHE EVER WANTED WAS SOMEONE TO LOVE HER AND GENUINELY CARE ABOUT HER…
