We rewrote Devin Desktop to use the same design and rendering system as Devin Cloud, while preserving full local agent compatibility.
It took millions of tokens, but the result is worth it: the UX is 10x better than Windsurf used to be.
Devin Fusion just got even better.
Use your ChatGPT subscription directly in Devin to power the Astra lead, while a free SWE-2 sidekick executes all the work.
Devin is your developer, but also your devbox.
I haven't set up a local development environment in months: even when I need to edit things myself, I just connect directly to the environment Devin already has configured.

Special delivery: Devin just got a Mac 🍎
Now Devin can:
1. Build & test apps on its own Mac VM with iOS simulator
2. Send a screen recording via Slack
3. Send a TestFlight link so you can start using it 📲
Devin Fusion is an unbeatable combination letting you combine frontier intelligence with free SWE-2.
We're building the most affordable coding model in the world.

NVIDIA Brev + Devin outpost gives your cloud agent gpu super powers: debug and develop cuTile, sweep over vllm/sglang configs++

We worked with Cloudflare, Daytona, E2B, Modal, Namespace, and NVIDIA Brev on deployment templates and guides for Devin Outposts.
Each gives Devin a different place to work: from secure sandboxes and private networks to GPUs and macOS machines.

SWE-1.7 Lightning at 1k tokens/second is the most flow-friendly coding experience in the world.
It’s smart enough to understand everything I ask and fast enough to never leave me waiting.
Why stick to one model when you can have the best one continuously chosen?
It's astonishing that Gemini still can't even edit Google Sheets. How can Google be fumbling this badly?
GLM 5.2 is the first open weights model I've found to be good at high level planning.
Now it's free in Devin Desktop/CLI.
FrontierCode is the best attempt I've seen to measure the gap between what AI can produce from a single shot prompt and what's actually needed to produce maintainable code.
Use it to stop the slop.
Lots of teams are building their own agents on specialized knowledge/context, but don't have a great UX for managing them all in one place.
Devin Desktop solves that by embracing open standards as the *primary* way to interact with all agents.
At @harvey, the engineering team integrated Spectre — their internal background agent — into Devin Desktop.
Now Spectre's organizational context can live on every engineer's laptop and flow across their favorite agents.
It turns out there’s a lot of demand for code out in the world.
1/ We’ve raised over $1B at a $26B valuation, led by @Lux_Capital, @generalcatalyst, and @8vc.
Our enterprise usage has grown >10x since the start of this year, and our run-rate revenue grew to $492 M.
We launched Devin two years ago as the first AI software engineer. Since then, cloud agents have gone from niche to mainstream, and today they are the fastest growing way to create software.
Devin Review is my secret weapon for avoiding slop PRs.
Now it’s available for all Windsurf users, directly in the IDE.
Devin went from doing <20% of my PRs last year to 95% today.
I tried Devin N months go (maybe N years ago idk) and it was pretty awful. They made the mistake of over-stating what they do unfortunately, but models were not remotely capable enough when they did that either.
Trying it again today: drastically improved. They've done a good job of baking in behaviors you'd expect in some scenarios, because they're seemingly actually trying to improve software development (vs just code generation).
I joined @cognition to build this.
Cloud agents are going to be doing most programming but developers still deserve powerful tools to stay in flow while managing them.
Devin + Windsurf brings the best cloud agent right to your IDE.
