When I was in graduate school, many of us complained there were only a few dozen public datasets to use for dissertation research. Today, Google released a tool that lets one search more than 6 million datasets: bit.ly/36mteiW

Presenting a theoretical model, we show how technologies can either recoup a budget deficit or cause significant vote-share gains. Furthermore, we calibrate the model to the polls of the 2016 U.S. #Presidential election and find that our model is consitent with #Trump's victory.
