Today, @Oracle launched Fusion Claw to give enterprise agentic apps a runtime for autonomous execution at scale. Bringing Gemini to the platform pairs our models' reasoning with Oracle’s deterministic execution, letting agents reliably handle complex workflows within set business rules.

In today's age of GenAI, this classic by @ericries should become a bible for every aspiring vibe-coding entrepreneur. It's even more relevant now than it was 15 years ago.
Today it's so easy to build things that people rarely stop to ask whether they're actually worth building and validate it *scientifically* as Eric suggests.
When building is this fast, you shift to distribution problems too early - and end up investing huge amounts of effort finding users for a product nobody wants instead of iterating on feedback and steering the product into the right direction.
Read this book. It remains one of the best introductions to the science of entrepreneurship under uncertainty. Vibe coding dramatically changes the engineering economics, but it doesn't change the fundamental problem of figuring out how to build that damn business.

Lost my phone at the office and spent 30 minutes turning the place over. Find My was disabled by MDM.
Out of ideas, I asked Claude how I could find it. It suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength, then wrote me a meter in about a minute.
I walked around watching the number climb. Found it.
Apparently you can just make the tool you need now.

I have to say this interview changed my life. Hearing how Boris thinks about software spurred me to work much harder on releasing my own way of doing things and on iterating fast on how I build. Hard to believe it has only been a month since this one.
A very special guest on this episode of the Lightcone! @bcherny, the creator of Claude Code, sits down to share the incredible journey of developing one of the most transformative coding tools of the AI era.

2 PM-Design frustrations:
1) Designer spends time researching the right solution. PM + Eng say “This is great. But we want to ship an MVP fast so let’s tackle this later”
2) Designer asked to “just create mocks quickly”

EXACTLY @TechCrunch! Apple is taking baby steps because right now that is all we can count on to deliver successfully. This is a solid first effort by Apple focusing on real benefits to users (ex. Siri).
My two cents…
Today's AI LLMs are mostly glorified demos for the really interesting applications. They are turning into a commodity because they're overfunded by FOMO-driven VCs who don't truly understand the technology limitations that drive real application requirements. Hallucinations are a real problem and there is no fundamental way to get rid of them. The expectations of customers are so much higher than what can be delivered today. Remember how everyone ran to fund self-driving cars in 2012-2014?!? It was the NEXT big thing. What do we have 10-12 years later? Think about how many years have past for those efforts to be perfected (and they still aren't yet). We haven't even seen a self-driving car business work yet either. How many billions were spent on that next big thing before reality set in?! AI is VERY similar.
AND worth noting. There are many other approaches to AI that actually work reliably today. While they may not have magical LLM-like capabilities, they are solving very valuable problems and have businesses that work well. It will take many years to get to the AI capabilities we expect, unlike self driving cars, we can start using the right AI today!
