Personally I think there is a very high chance that (even though he pumps the stock sometimes), he wants Tesla market cap to be depressed (while still keeping it reliant on him). The goal is to dump astronomically overvalued xAI on Tesla shareholders in share deal at a depressed Tesla valuation. Its a balancing act, hence occasional pumping.. Tesla needs to have sufficiently strong valuation to afford/approve xAI merger. As well, Musk standing in the Tesla community needs to be high.
At the right "balance", this will give him control of Tesla, while still keeping control over xAI. His ultimate goal at Tesla is not to be a CEO, he wants to be an owner. On multiple occasions he referenced Larry Ellison of Oracle, which clearly indicated that he has similar desires.
This removed criticality of protecting TSLA from a significant downside for him. That concern was still in play in April and might have been the root cause of his conflict with Trump. Although I still believe that most likely scenario is that this conflict is mostly engineered.
The other thing to consider is that the issue of him leveraging his Tesla position has been coming up for years, yet only now he decided to contradict that statement.. something has recently changed. Which leads me to believe that there was a change of sentiment on what's possible, in his mind.
There are two possible key scenarios now. Its not clear which one is primary for him (possibly both).
1. Get a new compensation package. Regardless if its target based or flat stock (which is unlikely), it would benefit him dramatically if the stock price was depressed. By removing "leverage protection" above, the floor for the best case scenario for him has been removed. Essentially we can drop under $100 if its possible to do it without hurting his stance with the shareholders. Ex. Market correction or any sort of the event ("Fake fud") that he can blame.
2. Merge xAI with Tesla in a share deal. I know he said that he doesn't want that.. its bullshit. Of course he wants it, at an unfair (to Tesla shareholder) valuation. This, once again, means that it would benefit him if Tesla price was depressed. Unlike the option 1, there is some level of floor that needs to be maintained. If Tesla drops under $100, it would be almost on par with xAI in its value, making the approval of the merger more difficult. However that optimal (for him) balance is somewhere close to 200 in my opinion.
So now that price floor has been removed and dramatically lowered, the only thing remains to maintain is shareholder belief that he is essential to future Tesla success. I do believe its accurate, but there is always cost/benefit analysis that should be considered. We will likely see an escalation in self promotion by Elon and generation of fear (dropping stock price may actually be helpful here) of what's going to happen if he is not focused on Tesla. This will be a sign to us that we are getting closer to execution of #1, #2 or both. Depending on the price of the stock, it may make sense to buy before the compensation plan is put forward. In case of #2, I would wait until TSLA reprices itself after the deal is approved.

$TSLA - JPMORGAN TESTS TESLA ROBOTAXI IN AUSTIN
JPMorgan tested Tesla's robotaxi in Austin for a full day and called it “solid” and “safe.” The firm says future success will depend on traffic and safety data and believes robotaxis could increase pricing power for new car sales.

A BITCOIN RESERVE IS WHAT WE WANT!!!
NOT A CRYPTO RESERVE!!!! HERE IS WHY:
In 1971 the Gold Standard was taken away. Since then we have massive currency inflation.
A BITCOIN Reserve would, for the first time in 54 years give the small man the opportunity to have his savings secured and not be victim of reckless money printing.
Including other, actually centralized cryptocurrencies inflates the reserve and dilutes the monetary energy going into it.
If YOU want your POWER back, than YOU want a BITCOIN RESERVE!!!!

Dear @elonmusk & @travisraxelrod
On behalf of all Tesla shareholders, I’d like to humbly request that you take into consideration some of the analyst / investor concerns below, and to consider incorporating the 2 suggestions in the upcoming earnings call.
It would mean a tremendous amount to all of us Tesla stakeholders to provide a clear plan and additional details, such that the market can give proper credit to all the incredible work the team is doing.
Their main issue is that they cannot accurately model out these new lines of businesses with any degree of conviction, so the below recommendations would likely enable them to do so.
Top 3 analyst commentary/concerns buckets:
• 1) No update on new lower-cost vehicle(s)
• 2) Need to show new version of FSD that makes huge strides toward unsupervised; details on rate-of-change of improvement
• 3) Event was light on details / numbers; needed more concrete details / go-to-market plan; difficult to make upward revisions to 2025/2026 estimates with conviction
Top 2 suggested topics to address on the earnings call in order to alleviate key concerns:
• 1) Re-iterate the 1H 2025 timeline for production of next-gen, affordable models (including the compact vehicle)
• 2) Provide additional FSD/autonomy details, such as:
--> FSD rate of improvement trajectory / miles per intervention dot plot; how the Cortex supercluster will play into the rate of improvement
--> v13 preview; update on anticipated 6x improvement / expected improvements
--> Expected sequence of events related to launching/scaling TX & CA unsupervised, including: timeline for obtaining CPUC/DMV permits ahead of a CA unsupervised launch, expected pilot fleet size in 2025 vs. 2026 vs. 2027
--> Details on unit economics / business model (eg take rate, how Tesla will manage their own fleet, expected pricing relative to Uber/Waymo)
--> Additional specific details on talks with regulators across US jurisdictions, along with China and EU
--> Provide any quantifiable, high-level targets for the launch & ramp of new product lines, including: Cybercab, Optimus, Unsupervised FSD rollout, Robovan, Semi
I'd like to humbly thank you for even considering the above. Godspeed @Tesla

What "MAGA" really means
The phrase has troubled liberals who think it is a call for a return to an America before civil rights, gay rights, and women's rights. But I have a more generous interpretation, one that is truer to my experience of Donald Trump as he is today. "Make America Great Again" recalls a nation brimming with vitality, with a can-do spirit, with hope and a belief in itself. It was an America that was beginning to confront its darker shadows, could acknowledge the injustice in its past and present, yet at the same time could celebrate its successes. It was a nation of broad prosperity, the world's most vibrant middle class, and a idealistic belief (though not consistently applied) in freedom, justice, and democracy. It was a nation that led the world in innovation, productivity, and technology. And it was the healthiest country in the world. I have talked to many Trump supporters. I have talked with his inner circle. I have talked to the man himself. This is the America they want to restore.
What I see happening with @elonmusk compensation (in that order). $TSLA
1. Get through the court hurdles to be able to execute 2018 compensation package. This will likely happen in July.
2. Put together next compensation package with the board with tranches between 1T and 5T.
3. Put the new compensation package up for vote.
4. 1-2 weeks before the deadline for #3 announce "funding secured" for tax payment (for 2018 options). He can get a loan for a pretty low rate against his stake in SpaceX or Tesla shares.
5. The interest on the loan above will be immediately worth it on day one when stock rallies 10-15+% on the news. This will indicate to the shareholders Musks confidence in incoming growth curve, as well as no share sale pressure. Major shorts burn day.
6. On the back of #4 and #5, new compensation package will pass with a huge margin (80+%) to create resiliency against future lawsuits. This guarantees him 25% ownership of Tesla.

Thank you.
Thank you to each and every one who voted.
And to those who still can't, you will be able next time. I will do everything in my power to help.
Your votes will help to remedy a true injustice. And it's just the beginning.
Don't mess with Tesla Retail Shareholders ❣️
This is huge. First this increases probability that Elons comp package will pass. But more importantly this will be huge in lawyer 'compensation' hearting next month. Billions that they are demanding are based on the premise that they are saving shareholders 56B. This clearly shows that shareholders do not want to be "saved". $TSLA

Yeah, this is not cool.
If they actually surveyed their constituents, they would discover overwhelming support in favor.
So far, roughly 90% of retail shareholders who have voted have voted in favor of both resolutions. The public sentiment is unequivocally supportive.
