RE: The Turmoil in Poland
I have been reading as much as I can on what is happening in Poland right now, and...
It's complicated.
At a high level, it's pro-EU/globalist forces pitted against pro-Polish nationalist forces.
At the risk of grossly oversimplifying things, imagine an America where Donald Trump is President, Hakeem Jeffries is Speaker of the House, Chuck Schumer is the Majority Leader of the Senate, and Jeffries/Schumer just declared the US Supreme Court illegitimate, they sent the Capitol Police to surround the Supreme Court building, and the police are preventing the Chief Justice from entering the building.
That’s sort of what is going on in Poland as we speak.
What a complete twat this guy is. Let’s have unity….except for you, the Jewish lady.

Not even Zohran Mamdani received such public support.

You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland).
You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.

Scott Jennings tees off on Ilhan Omar for a full minute after Democrat strategist Adrienne Elrod tried to portray her as an example of the “American dream.”
Elrod’s entire narrative got smoked.
JENNINGS: “Then why does she go around crapping on America all the time?”
“There’s not a single member of the U.S. Congress who talks worse about our country than Ilhan Omar.”
Jennings then exposed her father’s background as a Soviet-trained colonel in Somalia’s former communist regime.
“I mean, you make it sound like it’s a nice story. Her father was a Soviet-trained colonel in a brutal communist regime, who probably committed a bunch of war crimes.”
“That’s how she got here. How in the world we took him in in the first place? I’ll never know why anybody thought that was a good idea.”
“It’s an interesting story. But then why does she tell everybody at any chance that America is a terrible place?”
Bang on.
