Original: Dr. Thomas, @colloca_luana, et al. tested the hypotheses that pain resilience is negatively associated with pain interference, and pain resilience is positively associated with placebo effects via reinforced expectations of analgesia. FULL: jpain.org/article/S1526-5900…

I truly don't understand why Derek Henry isn't playing. He's got to be hurt, or this is insane.

In the 8 years before I was elected, Marylanders saw the nonfatal shooting rate double, the homicide rate nearly double, and a Baltimore that experienced a homicide a day. Now, we’re seeing some of the most significant drops in violent crime across the country, stronger partnerships between communities and law enforcement, and common-sense steps to keep violence out of our communities.

This line kinda jumped out at me “Nonclinical staff visits had stronger associations with improved emotional support, willingness to recommend hospice, and overall hospice ratings compared to clinical staff visits.”
Higher frequency of hospice staff visits was associated with better perceived hospice quality. Policies supporting greater hospice staff engagement may enhance end-of-life care experiences for assisted living residents. #geriatrics agsjournals.onlinelibrary.wi…
