Mini Review - #CULT The story by Vishwak Sen is wafer-thin. It has an interesting premise, but the execution is dull. The film lacks a strong conflict, emotional depth, and gripping twists. Slasher films need an adrenaline rush, which is clearly missing here. With repetitive fights and uninteresting survival game sequences, the narrative keeps revolving around the same thread without moving forward. The climax is also stretched unnecessarily, diluting the impact of the villain's decent backstory. #VishwakSen is excellent as DSP Sankalp Naik. His aggression, tough body language, and action-oriented performance suit the role well. However, while his effort as an actor is evident, he fails as a director to deliver a compelling film. He focuses more on violence and gore than on building a cohesive narrative. Better pacing, tighter editing, and stronger writing could have made this a much better film. #RaviBasrur 's pulsating background score elevates all the action sequences neatly. Overall, #Cult is an average attempt at exploring the slasher genre in Telugu cinema, let down by weak writing and repetitive sequences. #CultReview
