Using @EmotionWorksCIC to explore discrimination today with p4/5 @NWCCDumfries, using visual to support a Ukrainian pupil. Loved how they used their learning to make "paintbrush placards" against discrimination
Great to get P4/5 @NWCCDumfries trying out #MinecraftEdu as part of #WorldBookDay2023
Thanks to @Miss_Zeman1 and @RaiseScotland D&G STEM team for the training and guidance
Super example to get learners to feel like they were walking into a Victorian Workhouse and develop their @EmotionWorksCIC ideas. Thanks Miss Zeman and P6👍🧡 @NWCCDumfries

I am running the Manchester Marathon in April this year, in a last ditch attempt to marathon before the big 4-0 this year. At first I was doing it "for fun" but thought why not try do some good along the way.

Using @BottledBook as an inspiration for some @EmotionWorksCIC work. Emotion bingo, brainstorming and then orange cog bottles with behaviours that can pour out. P4/5 @NWCCDumfries loved it
Delighted to see the great @EmotionWorksCIC practice at @NWCCDumfries being rewarded. We will continue to improve outcomes for our learners as we go for gold! #relational #resilient #embracingchallenge 🌳👍

I'm no art teacher...but I am a Dad. I will spend 3+ weeks for the 30seconds of wonder on my wee girl's face 😍🦸♂️🦸♀️🦹♀️🦹♂️
Proud teacher (embarrassed participant) when ITV Border News came to see @NWCCDumfries fantastic P4/5 class during their Daily Mile.
We are about halfway through the episode.

Great performances by @NWCCDumfries P7 leavers today. So nice to have parents back in to see all their efforts. Also proud to sneak in a Friday Night Lights quote in my speech #cleareyesfullheartscantlose
Great fun afternoon with @NWCCDumfries P7s today. Picnic lunch, teacher portraits and dens in the MUGA.
