I was curious how Natural Language Search would handle a query I'd normally build with filters. So I built a small Livewire + Laravel Scout + Typesense demo. I tried this: Find ThinkPad laptops with at least 32GB RAM under โ‚น100000 Traditional search gave me 0 results. Natural Language Search gave me 11 results. The interesting part? I could just describe what I wanted instead of picking each filter myself. I'd still keep filters for precise control. But for starting a search, this feels like a much more natural way to begin. Every search box eventually becomes a filter panel. I've seen this happen more than once. Search starts with one input. Then price. Location. Sorting. One more filter... Before you know it, you've built a whole UI for building queries. Instead of making users figure out which filters they need, they can just describe what they're looking for. I'd still keep filters for precise control, but I can see this being really useful for product discovery and large catalogs. Sponsored by @typesense. fandf.co/4xQ1QHn

Laravel Brain just crossed 300,000 installs. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ”ฅ What started as an idea to make Laravel applications easier to understand has grown far beyond what I expected. Laravel Brain helps developers visualize the full request lifecycle of a Laravel application โ€” routes, controllers, services, models, jobs, events, database queries, and more โ€” as an interactive graph. Seeing 300K+ installs is a huge milestone for me and for LaraMint. Thank you to everyone who installed it, opened an issue, submitted a PR, shared feedback, mentioned the project, or simply gave it a try. And weโ€™re just getting started. ๐Ÿš€ ๐Ÿ”— packagist.org/packages/laramโ€ฆ composer require --dev laramint/laravel-brain #Laravel #PHP #OpenSource #SoftwareEngineering #DeveloperTools #LaraMint #LaravelBrain

Laravel Brain v2.6.0 is out โ€” the biggest release yet. For anyone who hasn't seen it: Laravel Brain scans a Laravel codebase and renders the entire request lifecycle โ€” routes, controllers, services, models, jobs, events โ€” as an interactive graph. No more tracing a request through the code by hand. What's new in v2.6.0: MCP Server โ€” Claude Code, Cursor, and any MCP client can now query your app's architecture directly. Ask which routes are public, or what calls a given service, and get answers straight from your scanned graph. Modular app support โ€” classes now resolve from packages and nwidart/laravel-modules out of the box, not just app/. Configurable everything โ€” views, Filament panels, service providers, facades, and broadcast channels can all point wherever your project actually puts them. Smarter memory handling โ€” a scan that runs out of memory now fails with a clear message and a fix instead of dying silently. A real docs site โ€” full VitePress documentation is live. laravel-brain.laramint.dev/ Plus a long list of layout, sidebar, and stability fixes โ€” and a first contribution from a new contributor to the project. Huge thanks to @sander_scode and @thewebard for the incredible support and contributions! ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ Try it: composer require --dev laramint/laravel-brain php artisan brain:scan Release notes: github.com/laramint/laravel-โ€ฆ #Laravel #PHP #OpenSource #DeveloperTools #MCP #AI
