this Masego video is a direct reference to a rare Herbie Hancock performance on Danish television in 1976. dope nod to a legendary jazz deep cut
Masego just dropped his new song โRecommendโ and the video is literally him playing every instrument that went into creating the record ๐ฅ teapawt.org/videosaregood/status/2โฆ

Dance for every horror you can't scream out of your body. Move for every ache you can't pluck out. Sway your body for every emotion you can't name. Sit in the sun to keep your body from going cold with grief. Pleasure yourself so your body doesn't forget transcendence.

Do not let the illusion of urgency in this world deceive you. Slowness is sacred, and honoring your own pace is medicine. There is no rush to arrive. Take your time and allow life to meet you wherever you are.

Loved this song so much coming up, shouts to Nyota Ndogo and Necessary Noize and this is one of my favorite songs to have reworked. I love its groove so much and I hope you also love these beautiful visuals weโve worked on with Zack Adell. More this week!

My friend @nickwambugu is fighting for his life this festive season.
He was one of those arrested after the documentary in connection to the documentary revealing state violence during the protests.
Now he needs our help for a life saving transplant

Sometimes what limits us is the power we give to external items and forget our individual strengths. "Without x, I won't be able to do x' but child, aren't you blessed?
When will it all end? Separating yourself from the divine? Constantly searching for what we already have?
