New rule in the NBA: You are allowed to take 9 steps without dribbling, and that’s NOT traveling.

The UK should show Toyota the door. That’s because they have threatened to retreat from the UK, because it doesn’t like the rules on electric cars. What they are yet to realise is that there is enough competition, for this to not be a threat. The only thing they can actually threaten is people’s jobs and livelihoods, and if that’s the case, then they deserve to go out of business. Imagine being one of the world’s largest car manufacturers, having decades to prepare for the transition to electric vehicles, and then threatening to take your ball home because the government expects you to keep up. Yet instead of leading the next automotive revolution, it’s now complaining that the rules are too difficult. Meanwhile, manufacturers that took electric vehicles seriously have demonstrated that there’s a growing market for them. Here’s an idea, Toyota. Build electric cars people actually want to buy. The UK shouldn’t be watering down its long-term environmental ambitions simply because a multinational manufacturer would prefer to keep selling petrol-powered vehicles. The rest of the industry isn’t going to stop innovating just because Toyota spat their dummy out, Adapt or die. .

RE: Tesla 1) It’s become tough to find an analyst who knows a thing or two about business who thinks Tesla is actually on the right track. There is widespread acknowledgement that Musk is bored with selling cars and wants to do other things, most of which have nothing to do with personal transport. I even think he is bored with vehicle autonomy in general because the potential economics still don’t look too great (and there’s growing competition). Yes, Tesla is still selling cars. But they could be doing so much more right now. They are being held back. 2) The group of people, let’s call them supporters, who still think Musk and Tesla are doing everything right are incredibly juvenile in thought and logic. There really isn’t much going on upstairs from an analytical standpoint. It’s just slinging vulgarities and insults at people who say Tesla isn’t where it should be. The days of intelligent and legitimate debates from the late 2010s involving Tesla’s business are long gone. Most of the people who were in Tesla’s corner during that period have moved on to other things and companies. I suspect they got tired of Musk’s antics and decisions while realizing the EV / autonomy market hasn't trended as economically rewarding as initially thought.

It's Apple's decision, not EUs. What Apple has to do is to provide the same-access-level API for other AIs to use on Apple platforms to let users choose their own option instead of Siri. And that's how it should be. On a fair shared market. Apple naturally doesn't want to do that, because it will lose an unfair competitive advantage due to deep system-level integration of own Siri AI.

Believe me, it’s only a matter of time before Barça win La Liga this season. We could even wrap up the title by December and shift our full focus to the Champions League. The first 8 rounds have felt like the Bundesliga during Bayern’s dominance, or Serie A during Juventus’ reign. Teams look beaten before they even step onto the pitch against Barça. Flick’s side are winning comfortably, scoring for fun, and facing barely any resistance. 34 goals in 8 games, averaging 4.25 goals per game. There’s simply no team in La Liga capable of seriously challenging us right now. Flick needs to make the most of this dominance and focus on bringing the Champions League back to Barcelona.

Let's put it this way, At Baku, the deployment on Valtteri Bottas' Cadillac went haywire which led to his crash. If it was one of the race leaders who had this happen to him, it would have been a massive backlash. At Malaysia, if instead of 10 out of the 22 cars, only 2 or 3 cars(maybe top3) just stopped on track and everyone else made their way to the grid, the race would have started and those 2-3 cars would have been out because "the software died"... And that would have led to a massive backlash.. At Singapore, the cars that got compromised were in SQ1, If it was SQ3 and the order was decided because of the massive glitch, it would have been catastrophic... F1/FIA are playing a dangerous game with these power units and they have been ridiculously lucky that the worst possible situation has not reared its ugly head.....yet
